"Nice size property. Missing the more luxury/comfort items. Garden furniture ok not as images. Has a comfy dining table. Balcony furniture present but not suitable for the area. High stools and table not appropriate needs more relaxing items to make area useful otherwise it was good for drying clothes. Area is central and easy for amenities, cafes, beach, shops etc all easy to walk to. Noisy as near heliport and some days this is busy from early morning till after 10 at night. Not overly...

Heights Hotel

8/10 Good

"Very friendly and welcoming staff on arrival. Nice Reception area, but once you get beyond the reception the corridors and our room (203) were somewhat austere. Nice breakfast, but a wider selection of fresh fruit salad would be very welcome. The red berries were still frozen but the cooked breakfast was nice, plus a good choice of teas and coffee. Fabulous views over Chesil Beach from the restaurant, but the view from our room was compromised by the double glazing having condensation between the panes of glass (plus a net curtain for privacy). I would stay here again purely for the view and convenience of being where we needed to be (on Portland)"

Cottage Sleeps 6 with Sea View and Patio

10/10 Excellent

"It’s super-cute and quirky (in a good way)."

Beautiful, family friendly Cottage with sea views of Chesil Beach

8/10 Good

"Charming stone cottage, lots of character. Space was tight but we knew that ahead of time although we could’ve had a few more surfaces available to put a mug down or more easily access opening a window in a bedroom rather than bypass an objet d’art, but it was fun.Kitchen well equipped. I’ll be back!"

Newly Renovated Fisherman’s Cottage with Large Courtyard • Near Chesil Beach

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely cottage. Small but so cleverly designed and furnished it never felt cramped. All rooms a pleasure to be in, as was the garden / patio. Very clean and tidy. Convenient setting. Small supermarket nearby, and good walks. .Bottle of wine was a lovely gesture. And as for the goodies in the Ironman pack….well….that was amazing, thoughtful, and insightful. Wonderful stay. Thank you."

Dolphin Cottage, Chesil Beach

10/10 Excellent

"We loved this property. It is just 2 minutes from the beach and the excellent Cove House Inn. The property is unusually well equipped and very comfortable. There's plenty to do in the near surroundings and our teenage granddaughters loved our time here. However it was very hot while we were here and fans in the bedrooms would have been useful - but those are the only items we felt we missed.Thank you for a lovely holiday"

Mermaid Cottage

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice cottage in quiet location with room opening onto garden with lots of bird song. Snug with TV is very comfortable. Parking spot just outside cottage. Well appointed kitchen. Location is good for access to portland, but going elsewhere requires travelling through Weymouth which can be slow."
