Property was clean and serene. The pool was very nice and lots of loungers. Had Kcup and regular coffee machine. Had lots of helpful kitchen items. Very family friendly.

Beautiful home with lake views

This is a beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable cabin. My family really enjoyed seeing the stars and lake from the rooftop deck, and the selection of snacks left for us by the owner! The public boat ramp right across the street was super convenient. Definitely would stay here again the next time we visit PK.

The cabin was fully updated. Furniture was comfortable. Internet TV for those that want to watch or keep in touch with sports and news. Perfectly located across the street from a boat ramp. Awesome rooftop patio and covered patio for a family and friends. Pellet grill works like a charm. Will definitely come back here again. Very quiet and safe community.

Host was very nice and responsive and place was exactly as the pictures show. Price was high but we did stay Memorial Day weekend so prices everywhere were inflated. Otherwise, the prices normally are great! Wonderful location near the lake and close to Rocker B so perfect for baseball families (why we stayed there). Full kitchen and plenty of space! There is a community which was fun for the kids. Also, great views of the lake.

Nice getaway

We were happily surprised with the details and comfort of the house. Very close to the lake and conveniences like a marina and restaurants. The deer corn and deer were an added bonus!

Perfect get away

Great location and the cabin is exactly as advertised. Management answered the phone when we called about a maintenance issue and we were please with the fast courteous response! Can’t wait to come back!!

Beautiful property, well appointed, good communication with management. Told to take garbage out, but not told Huerta. Had to wander around property carrying garbage bag looking for where to put it. Also head to strip beds, not typical for VRBO in my experience.

Nice area but looked more secluded online but wasn’t. Also wasn’t the cleanest and needed TVs in the other rooms like most other places so that the kids could watch those. Outside area was very dirty and could not use.

cabin 17, Possum Kingdom

Our group of nine just returned from five relaxing and fun-filled days at The Retreat in Possum Kingdom, Texas. Cabin 17 was spacious enough for our large group, comfortable in every way, spotlessly clean, and exactly what we had hoped for. The area is quiet, secluded, and beautiful. We were able to enjoy a nice view of the lake from the large back patio. Every morning and evening a lovely doe would come from the backyard forest to say "hello", and the birds continuously provided us with beautiful music. The spacious swimming pool was sparkling clean and such an added treat. We were all surprised at how quiet and perfect this spot was for our vacation. We will definitely book this cabin again!
