The issues with this property were that the elevator only goes to the 5th floor and we had a room on the 6th floor, the circular stairwell was not ideal when carrying luggage up one floor. The room we had as soon as we came in we saw 2 fans running, which we didnt think was a problem at first untill the room got really hot, the A/C was functioning, but even though it was set to the highest speed on the fan, it was blowing air slower that a regular fan. I asked the staff to take a look at it, afyer telling me that that was the best the A/C worked, they only offered a small fan, which was circulating hot air. Even though the room is advertised with A/C, it doesn't mean it works.

We loved our stay at the Normandy Hotel! The location is fantastic, perfect if you want to be close to the Louvre, Rue Saint-Honoré, the Opéra area, and many of Paris’s main attractions. Everything is within walking distance, which made exploring the city incredibly easy. The rooms are on the smaller side, but there were two of us in the room and we fit comfortably. If you have the option to book one of the larger rooms, I think it would definitely be worth it. Having the taqueria and the crêpe place right at the hotel was also incredibly convenient and worked wonderfully for a quick and easy meal. And I have to mention the bed, the mattress was AMAZING! Honestly, one of the most comfortable hotel beds we’ve ever slept in. After walking around Paris all day, it was heaven!

Staying at 1K Paris was a breeze. We arrived to a welcoming and accommodative atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The AC was working well so we had a great sleep during the heat wave. I love the interior design of the room, exactly what I envisioned and wanted. Location was great. Central and close to all major attractions.
