10/10 Excellent
"The home was even better in person than the pictures. Very clean bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas. Basement also meticulous with a washer and dryer. Gorgeous location and lake views from some of the rooms. Would certainly stay again. Great value for the $."
"The house was very nice for our family of 9. There was plenty of space. The somewhat separate apartment connected to the main house was great for our older couple. It had its own bathroom, kitchen, and living room. There's a bath on the main floor, one in the basement, and one upstairs. None of them are ensuites. The outdoor gazebo was wonderful, but filthy. It had not been cleaned. We swept leaves, spider webs, and dirt off of everything before we could even sit there. The house had lots of dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, spices, and coffee, plus filters. Each bathroom had liquid soap in the showers and on the sinks. There were plenty of garbage bags, bath towels, and hand towels. Sergii ordered lots of bathing wash cloths, so new renters will have plenty. The big, granite island in the kitchen was a perfect place for us to put our snacks, paper plates, etc. The Clark Lake Beach is very small and is more like a 15 minute walk from the house, not 5. There are several great grills for outdoor cooking. We took many family photos outside; as there are multiple great backdrops for pictures. The huge mirror in the front yard was one of them. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of seats for everyone. We especially enjoyed sitting in what we called the Buffalo room. We spent quite a bit of time at the huge dining room table playing games. The front porch was perfect for morning coffee and the hot tub was a big hit. Overall, a great vacation home!"
Beautiful cottage with gorgeous lake view, lake access and boat slip

"This may have been our best VRBO experience. When we arrived, just before check-in, the cleaning crew had just finished and our hosts went in to check the cottage out. That should have told us right then what kind of hosts they are.As we'd seen in other reviews the description and pictures really don't do the property justice. It's truly a lake cottage, but very clean, comfortable, and filled with the hosts lovely artwork. It's really adorable. We loved the front porch for morning coffee and tea, the beach area was perfect for a lakeside sangria, and the kayaks are a wonderful bonus for paddling around and maybe getting lazy and floating! But the most impressive part is the hosts. We've never experienced hosts this wonderful, even at lovely Bed and Breakfasts. Truly, if VRBO wanted to write a book on being the perfect hosts they should interview Rob and Megan. They clearly want their guests to have their privacy and somehow balance that with making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Respectful, super friendly, wonderful people. You won't regret renting from them - they were absolutely awesome! Thank you so much!"
"This house is amazing! It had enough bedrooms for a group of 13 adults. The heated indoor pool was actually comfortably warm the whole time and its a good size for a large group. One end is about 8ft deep. There were a lot of floaties, a basketball hoop, and pool balls. There is also a sensor on the door that chimes when it opens, which would be a nice safety feature for a group with kids. It was probably the cleanest rental home we have stayed at. The kitchen is well stocked with dinnerware, cookware, flatware, and other things you might need (citrus juicer, wine opener, etc.). There are multiple communal rooms that are great for large groups, including the dining table which probably seats 20. There are houses nearby, but the house is mostly surrounded by trees, so it feels very private; you won't see neighbors until you drive out on the road. There is a decent grocery store and gas stations within a 10 min drive. We also recommend kayak rentals at Tecumseh Paddling Company (about 30 mins away). Our group stayed at the Fort Recovery house (same owners as this house) and we have had a great experience both times. I highly recommend both houses, but especially this one because there's much more to do in the area. Thank you for a great stay!"
