"After coming from a rather rustic & shabby VRBO in the Algarve, Chalet O Amorzinho was an absolute breath of fresh air. The staff was so kind and accommodating (especially Maria who served our delicious breakfast every morning). The seaside setting is absolutely gorgeous with easy access—only a few minutes walk—to beaches and great dining options. The room was fresh, clean, and comfortable every day. Cabo da Roca, Sintra, and Cascais are easily to get to by car (20ish minute drive). Can't wait to return."
"The hotel is truly as you see it in the images! The pool is massive and the beach is wonderful. We stayed with our 11&14year olds and they thought the location was awesome, and loved the breakfast. The room we had was spacious and perfect for all of us! You can easily pop to restaurants and the grocery store (we had a car), and the views from every space are gorgeous!"

Good pool with sea views and not overlooked.Convenient for a walk to the village beach and restaurants or for wider exploration of the many sights.Margarida was always available for contact, responded straight away and could not have been more helpful. Our family enjoyed hours at the pool, trips to the beach, Sintra and Cascais, not to mention the fun spots for dinner and drinks. Jose was a gracious host who met us when we first arrived. Alfie prepared an incredible breakfast each morning (included in the stay), and the entire experience felt like a luxurious, five-star retreat with a personal touch.
The interior of the home is a thoughtful blend of eclectic Mediterranean charm, mid-century character, and boho elegance. Every corner reflects intentional design—from the curved fireplace and white stucco walls to the marble railings and abundant natural light streaming through expansive windows. The constant sound of waves crashing against the cliffs below added to the dream-like ambiance.
As we were traveling as a family, we stayed in the cottage on the property, which offered a lovely private retreat with two bedrooms (one queen and two twins), a cozy living room with a large TV, and a well-equipped kitchenette.
The dining area was tastefully decorated with woven rugs, soft fabric chairs, and subtle green and gold accents. Sitting there each morning, enjoying a beautifully prepared breakfast while gazing out at the ocean below, was truly unforgettable.

"We chose the Barca Charm House for its location, family friendliness and wonderful reviews. Each review referred to the hospitality of our hosts and I have to agree with previous reviewers, Sandra and Eduardo were exceptional. The house is comfortable and fully equipped. There was everything you could possibly need and so much more. The only item we were unable to bring with us was a potty for our 2 year old. Sandra was immediately on the case and brought a brand new potty round which was so helpful! There is so much to see and do in the area that a week just wasn’t long enough. We left with heavy hearts. Our family are spread out over the world and time spent together is very precious. We made many happy memories in the Charm house. Thank you Sandra and Eduardo. Wishing you both health and happiness.
