"Peaceful, quiet, and well maintained gardens with an abundance of birds. Easy drive to the top beaches and snorkeling waters. Nice supermarket nearby. The lodge we stayed in was quite nice. However, ceiling fan would have made it even better. Nice kitchen with professional style stove. Unfortunately the cookware was not to the same standard. One low quality fry pan and so so sauce pans. A real disappointment for someone who prepared all meals in the lodge. An email with the check-in instructions was sent quite late the evening before we left for the airport so we did not view it. When we arrived we had no idea how to enter. We called the WhatsApp number and no one answered. We then honked the horn and still no one. Finally after a few more minutes. Someone came."

"The resort itself is beautiful. I especially enjoyed the private beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I especially liked Juliet who worked at the Salty Iguana. Her energy and enthusiasm were contagious. As for the room. It was spacious and clean. The only issue that I had with the room was the sealing around the door to enter. Because the rubber seal had come detached from the door, the door was difficult to open and close. Cleanliness: The small room that held the ice machine was filthy. The best restaurant for me was the Salty Iguana--but only during lunch service. I found that the dinner menus were not as eclectic as i would have liked and I found myself either skipping dinner or eating rice and broccolini."

"Stayed here the first half of my birthday trip & I loved it ! I initially book The Garden , & ended up wanting to switch to The Ivory & I fell in love with it ! The staff was helpful to a certain extent. They were speaking Spanish to one another & smirking when I requested to change rooms , & acted like it was coming out of their paycheck. I guess they thought I couldn’t speak Spanish. Well you never know who’s bilingual & who’s not. They did not inform the person at the front desk , so when it was time to change rooms, there was a slight issue . The issue was eventually resolved & I had a good stay from then on out. Sadly, we didn’t get to see the beach due to us being so busy, but I would absolutely stay here again!"

"The property is beautiful Great parking great security It was not good to have to get out of the pool to walk up and down flights of stairs to the hotel bar to get drinks, there were no servers and who wants to get our of the pool The same issue at the beach, the servers did come by "infrequently" to get a drink order, I don't want to get in and out of the ocean to go get my own drinks The hotel breakfast was very very good and service The hotel restaurants were average and not high quality in my opinion The rooms were pristine and it's very quiet and relaxing We enjoyed the hotel cocktail happy hour night and the gentlemen playing the music"

"Absolutely a great place to stay. Out of the normal busy tourist places. The views are amazing over looking the beach on the Lagun. Onsite restaurant has good choices for food. Would definitely recommend."
