Lovely hotel in the centre of Gränna. Restaurant closed sunday-monday. Nice, lovely room but bad ventilation, so very stuffy and hot Amazing breakfast

This was an impromptu stay, but one we were so glad we made. The hotel was perfectly situated in a lovely town well worth exploring. Wonderful stay at this lovely historical hotel. The food & staff were phenomenal- make sure to book in the restaurant at least once - 5 star dining! Pack some ear plugs as the hotel is on the main road & you can hear the traffic day & night. But still worth the unique stay!

Hotel was very beutiful and well located in Gränna. Breakfast was unique with great service. The only negative was that in check in service was not very friendly and there was pressure to book a table in the hotel restaurant for dinner. Of course it is understandable that they cannot quarantee a table if not booked ahead but customers also need time to think and plan their stay.

Absolutely Charming

What a wonderful little hotel. They upgraded my room, which was unexpected and very much appreciated. It was so welcoming and comfortable, with a tub and a balcony. The staff are lovely, the grounds are a little adventure with an apple orchard and little areas to sit in and enjoy. Close to everything so you can walk everywhere and take in this sweet little town. I had dinner in my room (risotto, fabulous), and in the morning a bountiful breakfast that was beautifully presented and very tasty. It’s a great stop to break up the drive between Copenhagen and Stockholm. Cannot more highly recommend! Note: If you need absolute quiet I would recommend requesting a room in one of the side buildings. My room was in the main building (which is from 1769) above the dining room, and in the morning there was unfortunately a very loud child that kind of hijacked the whole area, including climbing up the stairs to my room. Nothing the owners could do much about, unfortunately. Just something to be aware of if you need absolute silence in the morning. Or bring earplugs😊 They also asked me when I was brought to my room if I would like the hotel to not play any music downstairs in the morning, which I said was not a problem for me. I 10/10 would still stay in that room!

One of the most memorable hotels we stayed at on our Swedish drive trip. The hotel rooms were very quaint and the restaurant was outstanding. We had an elaborate, traditional, Swedish dinner and then in the morning a very well prepared breakfast. We stayed one night, but wished we had stayed several nights.

Service is definitely 5 star, as is the breakfast. The dinner somewhere between 4.5 and 5. It's a boutique hotel in an historic building so the rooms are limited by that but very nice and they get a four, but a strong one.
