Excellent - as always. Becoming something of a ritual whenever I stay - dinner in the bistro and breakfast in the magnificent Breakfast Room. Good old-fashioned service, lovely comfortable room, and a building that oozes history. Worth visiting Grantham simply to stay here.

Lovely quaint hotel the 2nd oldest in Britain 1203 apparently, very busy and had a nice outside courtyard where there was live singing, we stayed as went to a Wedding near by but will definitely be going again, beds very comfortable and decent showers. Only downsides for us was that smoke form the courtyard wafted up into the room no fault of hotel but just an observation and Breakfast @£19 each was a little expensive we had breakfast a shot walk away which was half that and still great, plenty of choices in Grantham.

Only stayed 1 night but good size room with excellent shower.. staff very nice and efficient There was music and BBQ as it was a Friday. Made me smile with the tunes played. Would visit again

Lovely stay at this hotel. Big room, comfy bed. Excellent value for the deal we got & it included the very convenient parking. We did not eat at the hotel as it was quite expensive. Breakfast was £19.95 each. There are several other places to eat within a very short walk, several old pubs well worth a visit and a Wetherspoons within a 10 minute walk.

I have stayed at the hotel on a number of occasions, so my review repeats earlier ones. The hotel is historic, the rooms are comfortable and have their own individual charm. The dining facilities are excellent. The breakfast room is wonderful.
