Hear the sounds of the waves from this cozy cottage in the Salt Aire community. Take a 5 minute stroll through a wooded privately kept neighborhood HOA beach trail to the dunes and onto a peaceful beach. Rain or shine this well kept cottage is near miles of beach walking in a quiet community. Enjoy a book, game, or puzzle from the collection or drive into nearby Grayland or Westport shops, sights, hikes, and boating (< 10 minutes away!). Dec-Feb 15% weekly discount!

A little about the house:

VERY CLEAN HOME, we employ an amazing licensed professional cleaner with 8+ years of experience. After each stay, stringent cleaners are used on high touch surfaces and linens are washed in hot water as well as dried on high heat.
Updated open concept living/dining/kitchen space with plenty of comfortable seating and a cozy electric fireplace. Full dining table and breakfast bar complete with fish placemats. Enjoy streaming our DISNEY+ subscription and your favorite apps with our high speed internet and Amazon Fire Stick!

Large master bedroom with KING bed, office space, and attached bath. Listen to the waves while you telework!

Family friendly features including pack n play plus mattress, beach toys, board games, puzzles, large dollhouse, trucks and more! Breakable items strategically placed out of reach for the little ones.

New luxury vinyl plank flooring and small area rugs. Sorry no pets due to owner allergies.

Rhododendrons and roses surround the spacious backyard with patio and firepit for roasting marshmallows after walking back from a beach sunset.

You have three different options for quick access to the nearby beach!

First, we are at the end of a culdesac with a private neighborhood path that leads you through a forested beach trail and onto a gorgeous dune walk right onto the beach (5 to 10 minute stroll). Our 4 and 7 year old love this trail; look for the "beach" sign and wood bird on an old pier pillar with ropes.

Second, you can access another close by entrance on the paved street, good for strollers, scooters, bikes, and other wheels. Just head down our block and turn right onto Marine Drive (10 minute walk) until you run into the beach access sign. There are several benches for viewing the amazing sunsets! You can also park next to this access point if you prefer a 1 min drive.

Third, drive 2 miles south (5 minutes) to the entrance at Cranberry Beach Road where you can drive right onto the beach.

A Lovely Stay

Short stay but so worth it!

We had three folks who were doing some work for us and needed a place to stay so we arranged for this home with no prior knowledge of the place. The three individuals were so complimentary, loved the house and the location - couldn't say enough about it and hope to be able to come back again!

Sweet property close to beach

Our host was great and easy to communicate with. The home was clean and welcoming. Our family found it a great stop to reset on the end of our road trip. Close to Olympic National park to take a day trip.

Perfect house for families

Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our family vacation. The kids loved their room and their parents had their own space. I had the other side with a very comfortable king bed and my own bathroom. Made it a perfect spot. I definitely would recommend it for families.

A return to the ocean!

Our family includes my daughter, son-in-law and toddler granddaughter visiting from Spain. We were so pleased that we all had bedrooms, and two (!!) bathrooms. Our granddaughter loved the toys, and even a playhouse, in the back yard. The beach trail is gorgeous, though for this 76-year-old it is one I could only do once a day. But there are alternatives, as the host mentioned, and the beach is well worth it. We would definitely return here!

was super close to the beach access road and the neighborhood was very quite.

It says that the beds in one of rooms are doubles but they are really twins. The place was very nice lots of space. Loved that they had toys for the kids to play with and lots of streaming channels. We don't have any streaming channels at home so we were able to watch shows and movies that we have been wanting to see in the evening. It was very close to the beach access road. The neighborhood was very quite. Had a great time. THe only problem we had was trying to figure out the microwave we couldn't figure out what "high" was.

Perfect beach getaway

The pics don’t do justice to how nice this house is: Beautiful beach-themed home decor that all blends together, amazing king-sized bed, sweet twinkle lights to add to the decor, vaulted ceilings, electric fireplace, spacious and perfect layout. And 2 bathrooms!!My kids loved to have a variety of toys, puzzles, and games at their fingertips. Seriously, you do not need to pack any toys for your kids, this house has them!The kitchen was so clean and had many dishes, cookware, and even some basic baking/cooking ingredients.The backyard is really adorable with a fire pit and chairs as well as a deck box containing gear for the yard and beach.I’ve been to the WA coast almost every summer and this was literally the best year I’ve gone, and it’s because of this house!I have no complaints at all. Even the neighborhood is so cute and everyone is friendly. On a cloudier day we found the beach path (it’s kinda long, fyi, but very fun to walk on)It reminded me of being a little kid walking and playing in the woods. It was so cool.I hope I get the opportunity to stay here again, my kids were calling it “our house” because we were all so comfortable and happy there.Thank you so much for everything Karen!

Cute little cottage near the beach

Location was further out and more desolate than expected. Stop at a store in Abardeen before you arrive if you need food for meals. We thought the beach would be a shorter walk but it was a nice stroll through a wooded area. Abundance of sand dollars on the beach was like nothing else we've seen. Host communicated well and was very easy to work with.

Good overnight stay!

We were at the Ocosta Crab Feed! This was a good, clean house to spend the night. Wish there would have been coffee available. When it's just one night, I don't bring groceries with me.

Sweet and super clean cottage

This cottage is great! The instructions were simple and clear. The place was very clean. The location was nice - just a five minute walk down the private path to the beach. We enjoyed watching the ducks and chickens wandering around across the street from the cottage. The place itself was cute and, again, so clean. Great host, great cottage, great time!
