"The staff were excellent and the hotel itself was fine. The issue was one of isolation. If you aren’t travelling by car then options are significantly limited. Taxis are almost impossible to get (they have to travel from Pisa), the buses were intermittent and weren’t running at the weekend. It also isn’t safe to walk along the main road to access other amenities. On our first night both restaurants were closed (something that we weren’t told when we checked in) and the nearest supermarket...

"The hotel is a little dated but still nice, or room was small but ok"

"We, my wife and I, staid 3 nights mid August . We were surprised that nobody came during our stay to clean our room and/or make the bed. Also, no cups to be found in our kitchen. I had to go to the restaurant to ask for cups ! 2- The breakfast costs 18 euros. This price would be acceptable with more choice of food and free...

It is a super nice place, a spectacular patio, cozy room and a very kind staff, we loved having stayed there.

"The Bricks has parking and is a great location for the airport,[ 5 minutes drive] and also only a 15-20 minutes drive from the amazing spectacle of the leaning tower and associated Duomos. Salvatore and Michele were very friendly, helpful and quickly responsive both during the booking process and our stay. The Paradaiso pizza bar, just 7 or 8 minutes fast walk away was great for top notch pizza and draft inchnusa beer for supper!"
