Amazing family, beautiful town, amazing views and great fishing close by! Will definitely be back! Oh and bonus was the hot springs under the stars and moon!
My 13-year-old and I recently stayed in this nicely decorated studio. We were able to cook meals, everything provided and a market near by. Cozy bed and couch. Nice patio with pretty view. Couple upstairs are lovely and full of great information. We enjoyed their swimming lagoon and loved the hot spring tub in the middle of a field, so peaceful! Would absolutely stay again!
Nestled in the woods with lots of trails to hike. The host was very accommodating with lots of local information. The town of Greenville is rebuilding after the fire that destroyed the town but we were able to find everything we needed,

The local scenery is very nice. Unfortunately, the town of Greenville was destroyed by the 2021 fire and they are in the rebuilding stage. The rental unit is the downstairs half of a duplex and is neat and compact with a kitchen. The sound insulation is not great and you will hear some noise from activity above.
This is an amazing ranch property owned by a multigenerational family who stayed to fight the recent wildfire and saved the area around the ranch. This is as close as you can get to the Yellowstone (series) experience in Northern California. This vrbo is a basement studio under a ranch family member's residence, so expect some noise from above. He is very friendly and has a chill dog. The bed is one of the best we've slept in! The hot spring (basic metal tub setup with a deck and chairs) is on the ranch property nearby. You can only find it using the instructions inside the room as it's located on the ranch area across the main road and behind 2 cattle fences and across a tiny wood bridge. 4 wheel drive vehicle is advised but we made it without bottoming out in our Tesla Model 3 to both the dock location (free kayaking) and the hot spring during the dry summer, but would not try it if mud is possible. You will likely be alone at either location unless another guest or family member shows up.A 120v outlet is near the parking area so we were able to trickle charge the EV and made it back to the Sacramento area with no problem and also drove to Lassen Volcanic Park Bumpass Hell trailhead whole there. Fully charge in Truckee on the way here for best range.
