"The interior was clean and newly renovated. The ocean view was through side windows in the unit we were in. Of ocean view is important to you request ocean facing unit. It is a short walk to the boardwalk on the water. O"

"The Nimpkish Hotel (I stayed in room 3 which has a lovely deck overlooking the water and is on the side of the hotel fully facing the sea) is a lovely oasis in Alert Bay - highly recommend it for a clean, comfortable, conveniently located place to relax, walk around the little town, and get a meal at the hotel restaurant (my halibut and chips was fresh and great) - or you can walk across the road to the Orca Inn for a fine dining experience - both were great."
