"It was a great place to stay. My only complaint was they listed an indoor pool that wasn’t really indoors more of a covered pool but it was heated. We were there in October and chose the location because of an indoor pool. Clean place friendly staff. Right on the beach! My granddaughter loved the heated lazy river and we still made use of the hot tub. Would definitely stay again, especially in the warmer months."

"Staff member checking us in was borderline rude and we waited 5 hours to get our room while many others came and got room assignments despite us checking with her frequently. We finally asked a second person who got us right into a room. The lobby and restaurant/bar looked worn and dated. The bar manager was very nice and helpful"

"My stay was a mix of highlights and disappointments. Although some renovations have been made, much of the hotel remains dated and could benefit from additional updates. My biggest concern was the cleanliness of the room. While it appeared tidy at first glance, it did not meet my expectations for a properly cleaned hotel room. The floors were in desperate need of a thorough mopping, and the carpet needed a deep shampooing. There is a difference between a room being straightened up and one being thoroughly cleaned. Cleanliness should be a top priority, not an area where guests have to compromise. I was also disappointed that the room lacked a microwave, especially since I stayed several days. This limited my food options and prevented me from reheating leftovers from local restaurants. On a positive note, the staff was very helpful, and the hotel's location was ideal for attending the 2026 Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival, which was within walking distance. The highlight of my stay was the spectacular ocean view from my fourth-floor room! Although the balcony was extremely small and outdated, the breathtaking view helped overshadow some of my disappointments. Overall, the beautiful ocean views, convenient location, and helpful staff were definite positives. However, a spectacular view should never substitute for a clean, comfortable room. With greater attention to housekeeping, updated accommodations, and basic amenities, this hotel could provide a much better guest experience."
