"This was such a pleasant home to stay in the countryside of Sweden.. The property is very comfortable and welcoming. The hosts Lena and her husband reserved the old family home for our family of 6. "We stayed here 4 nights and pretty much loved it. This is a Swedish style B&B; the restaurant rules are so complex that you cook for yourselves. It’s a full kitchen so that’s not hard. The food quantity is huge so you really get supplies for two meals a day. The area is full of medieval churches, Sweden’s biggest wildlife refuge and historic Sigtuna and Uppsala. Room was large with tiny twin beds. My hypersensitive wife insisted the mattress was falling off but we normals wouldn’t...

"Excellent rooms and great location for a quiet vacation. The location by the lake is tremendous. I have a handicap, so there was some small challenges that included steps. So be aware of this if you have a handicap. The staff was quite thankful in helping me get a room that did not involve steps. But you will still have to navigate steps if you are handicapped to get to breakfast or the restaurant. Just be aware of this. Other than that, I would say this is an excellent hotel.
