The hotel was very nice. Room was spotless. We had a clubhouse room, which I highly recommend considering what you get with clubhouse room. You get free breakfast buffet and evening food/nacks and free cocktails. You also get unlimited colas, drinks, etc. Staff was great and their service was excellent. Im from the US and there is no hotel I've ever stayed at in the US that you get this type service and hospitality. Some of employees spoke english but some didn't, but most everyone had translation app on their phone so no problems communicating. Special thank you to Penny. She was the floor manager and she was very helpful and so nice to us. Thank you Penny.

I was very impressed by the big and spacious room at DoubleTree by Hilton Guangzhou. The comfort and layout made my stay very enjoyable. The staff were thoughtful, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay, which made a big difference to the overall experience. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of snacks, cafés, and food options in the surrounding area, making it easy to find something to enjoy at any time. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Rooms were clean but a little dated, lounges seen better days & needs a refresh. Reception & concierge staff didn’t speak English but were friendly & used translation app which helped. Breakfast buffet was extensive for choice, average but did the job. Disappointed that this property advertises a free shuttle between the CIFF expo however when asking about this I was told there was no such shuttle, this was a major reason I booked this hotel.
