A beautiful stay, excellent food and accommodatio.

Member of Staff who checked us in was a little surly. Didn’t make us feel particularly welcome. The younger member of Staff who checked us out was very friendly, thanked us for our stay etc.

High hopes but sadly didn’t live up to expectation

We reserved a superior double room, money paid on arrival to our dismay we given a basic room with a terrible smell in the bathroom. After refusing to accept we were eventually shown to a larger room, which was rather dingy and dark and no resemblance what so ever to the hotels publicity. However, the receptionist was polite and charming and no blame to her for the hotel over booking, though it didn’t feel full? The first two nights we had excellent food in the restaurant absolutely no complaints. However the third evening! I was served prawn carpaccio which was so salty it was inedible and my main course of creamy seafood on rice, was again over salted rice with raw prawns on top and a teaspoon of cream. It was absolutely disgusting and I sent it back no alternative was offered! So I went hungry, raw prawns on hot rice, a recipe for tummy upset that is if you were brave enough to risk eating it. I think they need to sack the chef who was cooking dinner that evening. It is such a shame the sloppy management of what could be a really good business. The grounds and building are really nice we had high hopes of our stay. Please be honest about your rooms don’t down grade and then try to pass it off as what was reserved. Don’t serve raw seafood unless clearly stated on the menu.

A great stay

We have stayed before pre Covid and loved it so went back just for a relaxing quiet night during our stay in Puerto de la Cruz. Restaurant food was very rich, fresh and excellent. My only criticism was the orange juice at breakfast it tasted like it was made from powder! Lovely fresh produce, cheese, meats, fruit, bread etc. We had an unexpected guided tour through the gardens and part of the Rural which was fantastic. There are functions such as weddings at the weekend so if you plan to go for a night I would avoid just incase. The English translation does say an indoor pool but in Spanish it does correctly state it is an outdoor pool.

De retour dans cet établissement où nous avons gardé un très bon souvenir. Environnement calme et apaisant, restaurant très bon, je conseille la demi-pension, vous ne serez pas déçu ! Une très bonne adresse à un prix abordable.

Das Hotel liegt in einem wunderschönen, gepflegten Park und ist ruhig. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen, auch wenn sich die Karte während unseres einwöchigen Aufenthalts nicht änderte. Wir haben dort die erste Februarwoche verbracht und dafür war es einfach im Zimmer und auch in den übrigen Hotelräumen zu kalt. Die Zimmer können nicht beheizt werden! Die Suite, die wir gebucht hatten, bestand im Grunde aus einem großen Zimmer, das recht dunkel und sehr kahl und nüchtern eingeräumt war. Im Zimmer fehlte auch ein Kaffeeautomat.Die Beleuchtung war zum Lesen nicht ausreichend. Es ist ein sehr schön gelegenes und insgesamt durchaus empfehlenswertes Hotel, man sollte es jedoch nicht im Februar buchen, da es dann zu kalt ist. Im Zimmer konnten wir abends nur mit Anorak sitzen.

A Mansion

It was such a surprise to come to this estate, we hadn’t expected such a beautiful place. We understand The house is an old mansion. Surrounded by trees and plants. The room was nice with a terrace were you can relax. The pool area is nice and clean. The restaurant was high class , the food was excellent, the breakfast buffet was served in the same restaurant. Some minutes with car you are at the beach in Puertito de Guimar. We would love to go back to this place, our stay was too short. The only thing is that you probably need a car for your stay.

Hôtel Campagne verdure et restaurant très bien

Super Hôtel Rural, très agréable de voir cette nature tout autour, le restaurant est vraiment bien. Le personnel est très gentil, vous ne regretterez pas cette découverte. Piscine , petits déjeuners, calme et restaurant délicieux. allez y c'est une bonne expérience.

Nous n'avons passé que 2 nuits mais c'était vraiment le top, grand appartement, spacieux, bien fait, propre, seul point négatif le matelas qui n'est pas des plus confortable mais nous avons quand même très bien dormi dedans !

Das wifi ist eine Zumutung- und das dann mit der Lage zu begründen wie es die Managerin getan hat ist peinlich. Und dass man für den Safe eine extragebühr zahlen soll ist auch nicht mehr auf der Höhe der Zeit Schade, mit wenigen kleinen Maßnahmen könnte man das Hotel mit etwas mehr Engagement zu einer Perle machen

El horario del check in es excesivamente tarde (15 horas) y el del check out excesivamente temprano (11 horas). Si vas por una sola noche y haces cálculos, no te han permitido estar en el alojamiento ni las 24 horas de un día. Creo que el cliente tiene derecho a sus 24 horas de estancia.

Petit havre de paix dans un écrin de nature

J’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel 3 nuits pour le travail. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, indépendantes, j’ai même eu une terrasse et un accès au jardin. Le cadre est top (vue montagne d’un côté, océan de l’autre, et sur les pyramides de Guïmar!) Il y a de très beaux espaces (piscine, jardins….) très reposant, surtout après une grosse journée de travail. Le restaurant, sur place, est délicieux aussi bien pour dîner que pour le petit déjeuner, Mais surtout, le personnel est ADORABLE. Adaptable, serviable et tellement attentionné! Gros coup de cœur, je voyage très souvent seule et être dorlotée et chouchoutée par l’ensemble de l’équipe comme j’ai pu l’être pendant ce séjour ne m’était jamais arrivé. Je recommande chaudement cet établissement.
