Very nice and clean. I had a great time. It’s too bad that if you do the 2nights/3days, some activities are the same every day. Only 500ml of bottle water per day given, which is not enough per day. Otherwise have to pay for the drinks.

The cruise was comfortable and relaxed the activities were enjoyable and relaxed we were upgraded to the Captains suite which was a surprise. Although cooler than normal it was very enjoyable European and Canadian passengers made for an interesting experience. Halong Bay is being spoilt through over visitation so see it before it gets ruined

Ça a été une super expérience.Le deuxième jours nous a marqué car nous étions que deux personnes sur un bateau avec 5 hommes d'équipage pour nous servir.Nous avons fait le tour de la baie à petite allure dans le calme et à l'écoute de la nature.Vers midi nous nous sommes arrêtés dans une petite baie et on nous a servi un repas digne d'un super restaurant.Merci encore au guide ensuite retour sur l'Emeraude Cruise où le soir la responsable du staff nous invite à manger dans le carré du capitaine avec le plat servi à table qui m'a rappelé mon premier métier dans la marine marchande.Et le dernier jour de retour au port le capitaine m'a laissé un instant la barre que du bonheur.Vraiment merci encore à tout le staff de l'Emeraude Cruise.

The staff was absolutely charming and attentive. The Emeraude is older with some of the quirks one would expect and hopefully enjoy, but an absolute delight. The scenery is spectacular and this was the perfect way to enjoy it. We would definitely book again.

Too pricy for the offer

Worst bed ever! It doesn't matter if they offer a pillow menu when the mattress is awful !! Staff was nice but no one notices te next step and the written itinerary didn't match the real one , maybe we passe by places worth of taking photo but no one warned the passengers . The menu is limited and the beverage prices ridiculous compared to the rest of the country including 5 star hotels ... The boat is nice but they even charge 18 dollars for a 60 minutes in a kayak belonging to the boat , of course no one rented one. I saw other boats nearby and some even had jacuzzis and I could bet the price difference shouldn't be much so if you are planning a trip to ha long bay choose well for this boat only relies on its "French"reputation

예약하자마자 크루즈 담당자로부터 이메일 연락이 옵니다. 크루즈 여행 전날 직접 찾아와서 pick up과 drop off 서비스에 관련 된 사전미팅을 진행했고, 숙박하는 내내 에메로드 담당자가 친절하게 하롱베이 관광을 시켜 줍니다. 1박2일 프로그램도 잘 짜여져있고, 매우 만족했습니다.

可愛いレトロな内装、おいしいお料理、良いスタッフ！

２０代の女２人でダブルベッドの部屋に宿泊しました。船はレトロな雰囲気がとても可愛いです。丸みを帯びた建具やバスルームの青いタイルから備え付けのファンや手摺まで、「海底２万マイル」のイメージそのもの！古いものとはいえ綺麗で清潔でした。トイレ・シャワーも中級ホテル並み。ただ、ドライヤーはなかったです。 expediaのページでは詳しく記載ありませんが、ランチ・洞窟ガイド・生春巻講習・ディナー・小型船でしか行かれない場所へのクルーズなど、食事とアクティビティがセットです。各食事での飲み物とカヤック体験は別料金です。カード可。食事はビュッフェと書いてありましたが、人数の関係なのかコースでした。ベトナム風でありながら外国人用にアレンジしているような感じでクセが少なく、とっても美味しかったです。食べきれないほどです。各アクティビティは自由参加ですが、どれも楽しかったのでおすすめです。 どのスタッフも全体的ににこやかで良い感じでした。値段相応のサービスを感じました。 ハノイオフィス⇔船乗り場までの往復送迎は１人４０ドルでミニバンでした。これはオプションで、後からメールで申し込みます。（ハノイで別の旅行会社のバスを申し込んで、もっと安く来たというお客さんもいました） （ただ、冬のハロン湾は予想以上に寒くて風が強かったです。一応ブランケットを貸してもらえますが、サンデッキや屋上にはいられませんでした）

Emeraude is ok - but it is an old boat and price is too high( not the "super luxury" in "Europian comprehension"). You can get something very similar (both transport and experience)to more reasonnable price.

The best. Shuttle turned out to be private van for us 2. AC and only 3 hrs. Coffee shop awaited us and a market place with "cheap" backpack-bought 3 for total of $35. Cruise was great calm seas. Boating for 1 hr was included and we loved it. Food good and plenty w reception. Our room was upgraded. Super nice. Ship shower.

Cruise Ha Long Bay. French owned cruise ship.

French owned cruise ship up to 60 passengers. Ship is about 16 years old (as of April 2014) and has had cabins recently refurbished but cabin showers old style marine/yacht and should be modernised to at least mobile home standards. Cabin layout tight and bed arrangements need to be reviewed as cluttered and tight. Overall good time plenty of open and undercover areas. One night 2 day programme is short and 2 night programme needs revamping as you repeat 1 night voyage or need to transfer to another ship. Staff pleasant and friendly especially if you are polite to them and attempt to speak Vietnamese. Only real draw back is all drinks are very costly. Other cruises are said to be generally not as good.

Halong Bay Experience

Well we had reservations for Emeraude, confirmed through hotels.com and received confirmation 4 days prior to departure. Upon arriving at the Hanoi office for Emeraude, they had no record of the confirmation. They were also completely booked and given we only had that 1 night in our schedule, they were able to book us on the Pelican cruise instead. We were required to pay for the additional transport fee there. The Pelican was ok, however it was not the deluxe room paid for on the Emeraude. 9 out of 10 times, we have had successful bookings, however this was the first time it did not go smoothly.

Comparado con otros paquetes que ofrecen, reservando via hotels.com sale muy bien de precio, aunque solo incluye lo que se refiere al barco y hay que buscarse la vida para llegar a tiempo (recordemos que es un barco y tiene hora fija para zarpar) Si le gusta ir por libre es una manera perfecta de contratar. Con lo que ahorre pague un traslado privado de la ciudad de Hanoi al barco y vuelta al aeropuerto de HAN, por 120 usd, y aun asi salia mas barato que los paquetes en bus turistico habiendo pagado camarote superior. El barco es magnifico, aunque el programa muy apretado para 24 hrs. De lo mejorcito de nuestro viaje. Me habria quedado mas días pero al contratarlo via hotels.com no queda muy claro que tipo de recorridos se ofrecen, y a dia de hoy no sabria decir si hay posibilidad de un recorrido mas largo, de 2 noches.
