Staff I encountered were pleasant and engaging. Lobby was sparse yet functional. Hallways were spotless. Room was large and impeccably clean.
It’s a HoJo, so you know it’s not going to be luxe and I wasn’t expecting it to be anything but basic. Bed was comfortable, air quality in the room was good - no trace of that chemical smell that a lot of lower priced hotel rooms seem to have. Extra points for the heat lamp in the bathroom.
Reason for low rating: in this day, we travel with a lot of electrical devices that require charging. Or in our case, a CPAP breathing device. In 2025 is ludicrous that there wasn’t a single receptacle to be found on the side of the room where the beds are located.
Not one.
Across the room it doesn’t get much better. There is but one outlet to be found behind the TV stand. One half of this outlet is useless - plug something in and it literally falls out due to two holes being stretched out. There was a single power strip that was completely full - running the TV, the fridge, wall lamps? There was a lamp with two outlets in the base of it however it didn’t work. In the end i had to unplug the fridge and TV in order for us to plug in our phones.
Thought of asking for an extension cord but it was midnight and we had an early start.
Parking lot outside our room looked like it was being used for long term storage of a few vehicles & broken tarmac all around
