An ideal hotel for a night or two when exploring Füssen and visiting Neuschwanstein. Staff and owner were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of parking onsite. The restaurant was closed when we were there unfortunately but breakfast was included.

Owner had keys and room numbers for our after-business hour arrival. We nice owner who met guests at breakfast each morning. It was a hotter than normal week in August and like many German guest properties with no air conditioning we went to bed well after the sun went down and the air was cooler. Very nice location the associated restaurant has a very good traditional menu. Also, the owner provided a generous breakfast.

Wonderful stay!!!

Little hotel with very clean rooms and very nice typical German breakfast - make sure to try the eggs they are all fresh and taste so good. We checked in late they leave the keys in an envelope. There was a restaurant but we did not try it. Breakfast is by timeslots as their breakfast area is small but everything was fresh and tasted good. Hosts were very friendly and be ready to meet smiling people that likes to talk to you. Hotel is 12 minutes from the castles. Thank you for the great short but nice stay.

Nobody around when we checked in, but we knew that ahead of time. No big deal. However, we needed to leave early the next morning (8:30)and when we got to the hotel after a day of touring, around 4 and found that you needed to sign up for a breakfast slot , either 8 or 9 am. All the slots were full. After getting to our room, went downstairs to restaurant and found you needed a reservation. Asked for suggestions for other restaurants, they also needed reservations. Drove 15 minutes back to where we were earlier in the day and had dinner. Next morning told person checking us out of our predicament of having to leave before breakfast...no apology or suggestion to " grab and go". On the plus side found a GREAT bakery in the next town.

Fantastic stay w great food

Fantastic hotel w very comfortable room and high quality beddings, the breakfast is especially delicious which can be comparable to five star hotel. The host is also very nice and friendly, feel like home. Would love to stay next time when visiting here :-)
