Hotel Marienthal provided a functional stay, but there were several drawbacks that kept it from being a better experience. The room was clean and served its purpose, but the beds were not particularly comfortable, and the pillows were so thin that they were almost non-existent. We were also only given one room key card, which was inconvenient for a family traveling together. One thing to be aware of is that the reception desk closes at 6:30 PM. After that, there is essentially no one available to assist with questions or issues, which can be frustrating if something comes up in the evening. The breakfast was disappointing and not worth the extra cost in our opinion. The selection was very limited, consisting mostly of cold cuts with only a small amount of hot food available. The coffee machine was probably the highlight of the breakfast experience. The hotel does have a nice park directly across the street, which provides a pleasant view and a quiet atmosphere. However, beyond that, the location is not especially convenient or walkable, and most attractions require additional transportation. Overall, Hotel Marienthal is adequate if you're simply looking for a place to sleep, but there are several areas where the guest experience could be improved.

there was no personal check in after 4 pm, only a digital box outside. The digital buttons di not work and it took a long time after a long journey to go to the room., No kettle or coffee/tea facilities and nothing to buy or restaurants nearby. The emergency telephone number did not respond and hung up a couple of times.

Vi hadde bestilt et familie rom. Resepsjonen var stengt når vi kom,hentet ut nøkkel fra nøkkelboks. Når vi kom inn på rommet lå det toalettpapir over hele gulvet, brukte bleier i alle søppelkasser på rommet! Det var ikke dyner der! Badet var skittent! Men det beste av alt var at de hadde lagt inn nye håndkle på sengen! Vi måtte bestille overnatting på et annet hotell og dette var klokken 23-00. Da er det ikke lett å finne et nytt rom! Dårlig hotell!

Litet men ok rum. Slutbläcket till dörren till hotellrummet var trasigt så vem som helst hade kunnat gå in genom att bara putta på dörren. Eftersom vi checkade in sent och barnen behövde sova kunde vi inte vänta 2 h på att någon skulle komma för att förhoppningsvis laga dörren. Vi fick stället barrikaderna dörren för natten. Det var väldigt lyhört och vi hade oturen att ha en eller flera familjer som dök in mitt i natten och störde sömnen. Det regnade in från taket i matsalen (fönster).

Charmerende og hyggeligt lillehotel i forstæderne.

Superhyggeligt hotel i forstæderne. Gode parkeringsmuligheder og fin morgenmadsbuffet. Hyggeligt familieværelse med fin plads til to voksne og to børn. Bygningen er af ældre dato, men det er en del af charmen.

Bei Ankunft funktionierte die Schlüsselkarte nicht, das Zimmer weiß diverse Mängel auf, der Fenstergriff wurde nur mit Klebeband zusammen gehalten (so auch im Wintergarten), der Haken im Bad fiel von alleine runter, das Duschwasser lief schnell über, Fußleisten waren nicht befestigt, Möbel wurden nur unfachmännisch repariert, Zimmer für drei Personen viel zu klein für den Preis, Treppenhaus roch muffig, Mängel wurden trotz Reklamation und Anwesenheit des Hausmeisters nicht behoben, am vorletzten Tag überhaupt kein Zimmerservice. Bei über 250€ pro Nacht ohne Frühstück waren diese Zustände nicht akzeptabel. Alles im Allem fühlten wir uns wegen der amateurhaften Absicherung der Tür- Fenstergriffe im Wintergarten und im Zimmer, sowie dem Handling der Schlüsselkarte nicht sicher. Wir können dieses Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen.
