Our favorite part, however, was the back porch and balcony. It was the perfect place to relax, and each day we were treated to the sight of a family of deer spending time in the backyard. It made for a peaceful and memorable stay."

"The photos of the rental were accurate and the cleanness was excellent. Off street parking space was good. The beds were comfortable and we had all of the necessary items for a comfortable stay. The owner was very attentive and checked regularly during our stay. They also made sure we were aware of any events happening in the area. Plenty of off street parking. The photos of the interior were accurate, location was good. The temperatures ranged 80-100 degrees during the our stay and the A/C kept the place cool. The house had a constant strong mildew smell (and sometimes slight sewage smell). The owner did offer to bring a humidifier. We declined because our stay was short and it would take days for the smell to dissipated. The smell would be the only reason not to rent again."

"A must stop for any history lover. Beautiful building! AC was sufficient, parking was easy even though the hotel is on a main road. Our room was in the middle of the building so we didn’t hear much road noise. And yes it’s on a main road, but this is a small town so the traffic isn’t anything major. Plus the rooms in the front get lovely views of the old historic courthouse just steps away. Would definitely stay again."

"The rooms were kept clean, and organized and well supplied. Definitely dated in need of updating. staff was helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good had a good variety of breakfast foods. . Could use some half-and-half for the coffee. Plenty of parking."
