Relaxing Stay in Nature

We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed exploring the property. It was very quiet and peaceful. We went fishing at the pond and had a great time hiking. The ranch is beautiful and there is a lot to explore.

What an amazing stay this was. We had so much fun just enjoying each others company at this cabin. Went fishing and loved driving the golf cart definitely made it very convenient getting around. We will be back.

Cutest Cabin in the woods!

What an amazing property! They have covered all the necessitys and added several special touches! We were only here for one night and are already planning a longer stay..... to explore the property and enjoy the tranquility!

The Perfect Getaway

This is my 2nd time staying at this property, and I will be back. The land is beautiful, the host is excellent, and the cottage is the perfect retreat place to unplug. The cottage is completely surrounded by woods and nature Nd the perfect place to unwind.

Amazing as always.

This is one on my favorite places to be, the tranquility and peace that this place offers feels like home. Very clean and beautiful. The owners Wendy and Kevin are absolutely amazing and great people, this is definitely our favorite getaway place!

Romantic Birthday

My husband and I had an amazing weekend. It was beautiful and relaxing. Wendy went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. With fresh flowers, yummy treats and even a birthday banner for my husband. This cabin has everything you need for a romantic getaway. We will definitely be back.

Perfect anniversary get-away

Wellspring Cottage was the perfect place for us to relax and refresh as we celebrated our anniversary. Wendy's welcome of beautiful flowers, tasty treats, and bubbly was a lovely surprise. The cottage is extremely comfortable and cozy, with many decorative details that add to its atmosphere. What a blast to tool around the property on the golf cart! We also really enjoyed fishing and sunning on the dock at the pond. Terrific place in every way!

Refreshing Reprieve

Our stay was everything we hoped for - a getaway for my wife and I to spend time with just each other. The smallness of the cabin was perfect to stay close, and the comfort was just right. The property manager, Wendy, made sure questions we had were answered promptly, and her personal touch of fresh baked bread that met my wife's dietary needs was amazing!

Exceptional stay at private cabin on historic quiet ranch

The host provided so many extras… food baskets, snacks, surprises. Private little cabin on a historic property of host. Cabin tucked away enough to be private but get to enjoy the animals and woods. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! We went when wildflowers were in abundance along the country roads. Such a fabulous stay as each need was provided… including upscale amenities! Loved every moment there!

Simply amazing

If you need a place to get away from the loud city life, this little cottage is the perfect place. My husband and I got to recharge and enjoy some peace and quiet with each other. From exploring the grounds on the golf cart, to seeing the many different animals and stargazing next to a fire. It was the perfect getaway for us. Wendy and Kevin your place is amazing, and we can’t wait to come back☺️

Relaxing Getaway!

My husband and I had a very relaxing and fun experience at this property! Lots of things to see and explore and the hosts are kind and friendly. You really feel like you're off grid in nature. We had fun stargazing, roasting marshmallows, and exploring the property. The hosts go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable, from the bathbombs in the tub to the fresh baked bread and snacks in the kitchen. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back!

Little bit of Heaven

We love this little piece of country relaxation! The cabin is very clean and has all the right touches. The hostess is amazing! The added snacks and warm homemade bread with honey butter are so thoughtful! We always enjoy a glass of wine out by the firepit. This was our second stay and we will be back. Lovely!!

Quiet country getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage nestled among the oak trees. We cruised the trails in the golf cart, cherishe the peace and quiet, and even saw a road runner at the bird bath. One of the highlights was the over the top breakfast catered by the host. She is an amazing cook. The bed is ultra comfortable. If you like taking a bath, the tub is big with bubbles or bath bombs provided. Thanks again, Wendy, Bill and Jill

Away From It All

My husband and I had another incredible visit to Wellspring Cottage. Quiet, clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. Wendy welcomed us upon arrival and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay, but it is all of the special touches that really make everything so wonderful. We were able to rest, relax, and recover from the hustle and bustle of life. Birdwatching while soaking in the clawfoot tub, exploring the wildflower filled fields, and wading through cool streams were all available to us and thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend Wellspring Cottage for anyone looking to get away with someone you love to just be together.

STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND BOOK NOW!

We have stayed in numerous VRBO's over the last several years, and I have to admit this is my very first time doing a review and it's because this one deserves it! Above and beyond doesn't justify the service and experience you will have with Wendy. She's very attentive, responds quickly, gives suggestions and ideas of things to do and places to eat while your there for your stay, and if you're lucky like me, you'll get to go home with some home-grown vegetables handpicked from her garden! This was perfect for our anniversary, but we will definitely be returning any time we need another peaceful weekend away. This was a little piece of Heaven on earth and I'm so happy we found it!

Home away from home

Absolutely perfect! We arrived later than planned and the owner had no problems with meeting us and showing us the way. The entire atmosphere was so peaceful with fresh flowers, champagne, happy birthday sign (it was my b-day), cheese and snacks all from a local establishment. Candles were lit and was very inviting. We had to leave pretty early the next morning due to a small family emergency, but were able to enjoy a 4 star eat in homemade breakfast that was more than enough! Whenever we come to the area, we will do our best to stay here, no need to look at any other places. This is our home away from home! Thankyou so much to the owner for making my birthday amazing!
