Place was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Location is a tiny bit off the path, but definitely close to the food and entertainment parts of the area. Outside appearance upon arrival is a bit deceiving, as the cabin is in a semi-industrial area, but the riverfront area behind the building is very nice. Would definitely return.
Loved our stay at this little place. Super clean and great amenities with the hot tub, sauna, and game room. No problems whatsoever. Beautiful spot on the canal with a great beach area overlooking Tech campus. Easy check-in/check-out. Would absolutely stay there again.
Visited our daughter at MTU a snowy, chilly weekend in Feb. The game room was great entertainment for everyone in the family and the hot tub was a hit after skiing. The provided coffee was a nice surprise too
A nice location for Ice Festival. Hot tube and Sauna great. Our place was a one bedroom with apartment feel. We had everything we needed but it was simple. No dishwasher, but we ate out a lot! We got to see fireworks from our window!
Really nice property. Great location right on the snowmobile trails in the winter, and right on the water for the summer. The game room is a fun addition as is the hot tub sauna area. Everything was very clean, and we had everything we needed for the stay. Only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is the quality of the mattress. We're admittedly a little spoiled/picky in this area, but a better mattress would have elevated the stay for us.
For the short weekend there this place was awesome. Very clean, everything we needed was stocked and there, and the extra amenities were a huge bonus. Will definitely be booking this for any future trips back to Houghton!
Cabin was perfect for our needs. Fully equipped kitchen & other convenient amenities! Clean & overall fabulous vibe! Hoats are gracious, easy to work with , & welcoming!
Good location with great view of the college directly across the channel. Weather was a bit chilly so didn't use the kayaks like we planned, but did use the game room and hot tub.
Great room, very clean, fully as advertised. Host was very clear and professional with communication. Some difficulty in accessing the property, ideally would have received a TV guide / setup instructions.
