The room was very nice and the bed comfortable. The walk to the concert was only 3 minutes. The breakfast buffet was very good for a reasonable price. But we wanted to check in online on the screen provided to skip the long line, but the @-sign wasn't working so online check in was not possible. Also because of the concert next door there was only a street food buffet for dinner that was overpriced in my opinion. In general the hotel is nice and a good option if you need to stay close to the "Messe". Would be nice to get a reduced parking fee when staying at the hotel.

The hotel rooms as such are clean, resplendent with all the modern amenities, also including WiFi. I half-expected some single-use slippers, but alas, no such luck. During my stay, I had the privilege, or dubious honor, of a Helene Fischer concert taking place nearby. I tell you, nothing screams Germany louder than a Helene Fischer concert! I specifically picked this hotel with its four-star billing and an on-site restaurant, hoping to avoid the hustle and bustle of Hannover after a hard day's journey. Let me add, I was on a business trip and not participating in that concert frenzy. Now, here's the kicker. In honor of the concert, the restaurant had decided to serve a buffet dinner. They charged a rather hefty 37 Euros, which would have been palatable had the spread lived up to the price tag. Sadly, it did not. Rolling in around 9 p.m., I found the Fischer fanatics had practically stripped the buffet. Picture a salad that looked more like it had been left in a desert for hours and a chicken so dry, it might have clucked for water. The neatly arranged mozzarella and tomato slices had also seen better hours, and as for the braised pork, it was more fat than feast. I dared not touch the fish, fearing an upset stomach. The panna cotta, meanwhile, was more of a panna notta, disintegrating into a puddle-like mess. The staff were all smiles and politeness, but it was buffet or bust. Nothing to be ordered from the usual menu. The breakfast the next morning was ok though.
