Superb friendly little place, ideally located.

Great stay at the Dong Thanh. Staff went out of their way to provide information and great courtesy like looking after our bags for us well after our initial 2nt stay. Value for money is excellent , did not try the food as very close to wonderful street food.

It was a complete dump. Old, run down, rock hard bed, crappy old mouldy dank bathroom. Broken lock on door and towels and bedding stunk of cigarettes

旧市街に近い

利用飛行機の到着の加減で半日市内観光ツアーを個人手配しましたがそれでも12時頃に終わってしまいスーツケースを預けるつもりでホテルに行きました。 若いスタッフの方々が食事中でした。 ちょっと早すぎますね。と言いつつも部屋に案内して下さいました。 ホアンキエム湖や旧市街に近く前の道も広いのでタクシーも行きやすいです。 部屋は不潔ではありませんがあちこちガタがありました。 連泊時のアメニティの補充も最低限です。 バスタブはありましたが夜遅くなると温いお湯と少ない湯量です。 朝食は食パンとバゲットに副菜がありましたが二日目は宿泊客が少ないのか前日余り食べなかったからか副菜があまり無かったです。 二泊の予定でしたが帰りの飛行機出発が深夜二時近くだったので思い切って一日分増やす事にしエクスペディアで予約を入れチェックアウト無しで部屋を利用させて貰いました。 お蔭で荷物を置きホテルに帰って入浴してからチェックアウト出来て良かったです。

Easily the worst hotel I've seen in 15+ countries

Based on other reviews there are very good rooms and very bad ones. And I got the bad luck. Room 601. Where do I begin? I hate to give a bad review as the staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. However, the room was just a disaster, even if I overlook the budget price point. It would be criminal not to warn others. First, the humid musky smell made it hard to breathe. Next, the bathroom fully floods from as little as a 2 minute shower. The drain simply doesn't work. And other reviews mention this, so why not fix it?? Last, blankets and towels were dirty, and the sheets made my skin crawl/itchy. I suspect they give the terrible room(s) to those who prepay online as you can't do much about it except review them badly when they already have your money. This is easily the worst hotel I have stayed at in 10 years and over 15 countries. The breakfast buffet was great, and the staff assisted in ordering an early morning taxi, so I can't rate the place zero, however comfort of the room is the main thing. Instead of cooking a feast that no one even eats, why not invest $5 a day in repairing things or washing the bedding?

如果只是想隨意的待一晚，這邊的床還行，隔音還能接受，但熱水澡可能要洗快一點，因為洗到一半會變冷水，飯店備品不是很足，浴帽要自己帶，杯子感覺很老舊(但沒味道)

Perfect for a one night stop over

Dropped into hotel for a one night stay between local destinations . Staff accommodated us perfectly after arriving early 6.30am with day room until our family room was ready. Perfect central Hanoi location also. Not a swish hotel if you are looking for luxury!

1박후 하롱베이 여행다녀왔다가 다시1박을 했는데 첫날에는 업그레이드를 해줘서 에어콘이 두개나 있는 큰방을 배정받았습니다 701호입니다 돌아와서는 큰방은 아니였지만 엑스트라베드가 있어서 3명이서 숙박하기에 무리가 없었습니다 호안끼엠 호수에서 조금 멀긴하지만 가격대비 좋아서 다음에 또 여행으로 갈경우 이용할 생각입니다

Great location! They were very attentive and it's close to do walk around the museums, street market and places to drink st night. Considering the hotels at that location, this was one of the best.

The room given to us on top floor was more a storeroom converted into a room. The furniture were all old and broken. With other reviews I guess the room below were better. We got upgraded to suite when we moved to another hotel. It is even Stevens

Rethink if you have booked this Hotel

We arrived at Icon 36 and were told that the hotel was fully booked, and we would be moved to their sister Hotel, which was supposed to give us a bigger and better room, Upon entering the room, we it was smaller and older then the room we originally booked. There was a cup with a burnt pineapple core in it which caused the room to reek of smoke for the 2 nights we stayed. Also in the early hours of both days, we were awoken by screaming and yelling and slamming of doors which continued for half an hour. If you are considering staying here, I would think again, as you will probably be fobbed off onto this second class room. We were very disappointed with Icon 36
