"Good location. Friendly staff. Room was outdated but would stay again."

"Hotel is within walking distance to downtown area, which is convenient. The hotel is supposed to be smoke free, but we kept getting cigarette smoke odor in our room. The bed was uncomfortable and lumpy. The AC/heater unit is very loud when it's on. The shower pressure is extremely strong, felt like little pin pricks. The bath towels are gross, they are supposed to be white, they are so dingy, they look gray. I'm so glad I always travel with my own towel! Overall I would not stay here again."

"Staff is very friendly and the rooms are great. Sports bar is a great place to eat, gamble, and watch sports on a TV bigger then your wall. "

"older place, clean, comfy bed...no one on night dury so no wake up call...small pool....comfy reading chair...excellent price....also no tissue paper...makes for a nice walk to town for dinner etc...."

"The room was large, spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean! We loved it so much we stayed an extra night! It also is very centrally located in town so we were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. Thank you! And we will stay there again when we’re in Solvang. Carolyn Perone"

"The property was old but updated. Everything worked ( especially pleased with the jacuzzi!). The only issue was that the light over the bed was not accessible to a night stand. The light was on one side the nightstand in the middle of the two beds. Awkward. I just moved a chair to that side. The rest of the room was very accommodating."

"The overall property was very cute but the rooms that were outside of the cottage were ok. There was construction that the booking didn't warn us about. When we got there there was a line of ants in the room so we had to switch rooms. The breakfast was mediocre. The staff however was super nice and the location was great! The exterior in front of the cottages were super cute."
