"We booked here for our annual family vacation and were excited that we could bring our dogs. The house, grounds, and view were exceptional. The recently updated house was very clean & comfortable, and had everything we needed. Pluses:* There are a couple kayaks that were nice to use especially when the wind was offshore and the bay was super calm. * The ping pong table in the garage was fun on a rainy day* There is a nice flat top griddle on the patio that was great for cooking breakfast and smash burgers* Two refrigerators helped store all our groceries * Outside tie-offs and toys for the dogsMinuses:* The beach. The beach fell far short of our expectations. There was thick muck at the shoreline that extended 10-15 feet into the water. There was a dock installed to get over the muck, but when you entered the water at the end, there was shin deep slimy silt on the bottom that extended another 25-30 feet out before clearing. We tried to make the best of it but several of our group refused to go in the water at all. We're beach people so it was very disappointing to rent beach front property and have conditions like this, but everything else was great."

"Everything we needed. Very convenient. Though we brought our own grilling supplies (charcoal, fluid, etc.) it was a nice touch that some was already provided. Plenty of activities close to take advantage of. Would recommend."

"The beach area is pretty much unusable. No access to the lake due to high weeds. Pictures were misleading as no weed growth was shown. We wanted a good place for overnight comfort which we did get. So our stay was still okay as we were not too interested in the beach or lake. We had thought we would have at least a good view of the lake. Nearly invisible from the back yard."

"The decor was interesting without being weird. My daughters loved seeing all the different ways that 'ghosthouse' was incorporated into the decor and older family members thought that the homemade quilts and the color scheme were wonderful. The kitchen had a lot of supplies for cooking and clean up was a breeze on the spacious island and countertops. It took a while to find the coffee cups, before we realized that they were part of the decor in the coffee area and that was just cute. We enjoyed the wildlife and the fence decor. Thank you for the wonderful weekend and spacious, well-equipped, clean area for our vacation retreat."

"Great place to stay! The house is cozy and the beach access is nice, the beach is very rocky though so water shoes are the best option. We had a hard time getting into the house because the lock did not register the code so it took several attempts to unlock. Other than that we had a great stay, quiet and comfortable! The air unit in the loft worked great and kept us cool. Thanks for a great stay!"
