"Beautiful, clean property with a friendly and responsive owner. The courtyard/pool area is especially nice, and overall the space is well maintained.The main issue was a mismatch in expectations. We searched VRBO under “whole house,” expecting full privacy, but the property is actually split into three sections around a shared courtyard/pool. We had two sections, while the owner occupied the third. He kept a very low profile (we only saw him at arrival and departure), but you can occasionally hear activity, and all sections open to the same pool area. The listing does mention “two private cabanas,” so this may be more of a VRBO search/filtering issue than the owner.The outdoor kitchen is more of a kitchenette: good refrigerator, small sink, 2-burner induction cooktop, gas grill, and basic cookware/utensils. It worked for a short stay but is limited compared to a full kitchen setup.The pool was advertised as heated but felt quite cool (likely under 75F). The owner mentioned it should be around 85F, so this may have been a temporary issue.Overall: a very nice stay in a beautiful, clean space—but not a true “whole house” experience if that’s what you’re expecting."

"We had an amazing stay at this villa! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The pool area was a highlight—private, clean, and perfect for unwinding. The location was great, close to everything but still quiet and peaceful.The host was fantastic—very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. You can tell a lot of care goes into making this a great experience for guests.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Coral!"

"Stay was fine other than one important issue. Communication was fine at first and then automated and not done by a human after our stay begun. We did not actually receive direct correspondence during our stay about this, but we had prospective buyers attempt to enter the property while we were there. We received no advance warning or notice of this happening. Probably a miscommunication between the owner and realtor, however we will never know because we never received direct correspondence when we brought this up to the property owner via the VRBO messaging app. Nice enough place, and it’s totally understandable for the property to be shown, but ANY kind of prior notice would have been appreciated. "

"The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. He let us stay past check out time since another guest wasn’t coming in. He also changed the pool and hot tub temperatures to our desires. The trash was also full, and he had someone come empty it so we had room for our trash. The beds were comfortable! The pool area that attached to the main living space with a large sliding door was very nice! It would have been nice to have some more dishes since we had 10 guests and there weren’t enough of each serving pieces for each person. It would have also been nice to have a TV in the outdoor space for watching The Masters. "

"In pictures the house looks great. The layout and views are great. The house was clean but worn. The pool was dirty and falling apart. When I talked to the host about finding another property due to pool and deck tiles being broken “With kids running around” they seemed happy to help. Although it was “clean” we also found tiny ants all over the kitchen countertops. When I reached out to the host again (who hasn’t Gotten back to be about another property yet) and I asked for a refund, they totally ghosted me! I will not be staying here again. "

"The pool/hot tub, tiki hut and overall view of the canal were fabulous. The proximity to restaurants and walking paths was perfect. Great place to relax and enjoy the sun."

"Too much wrong to go into detail, but first off, “surrounded by lush tropical gardens” couldn’t have been further from the truth! Living room & family rooms were ok, but most of the furniture was very dated! Kitchen was awful…cabinets falling apart, two held together with a hair band, partly rusted “white refrigerator”! Awful pots & pans, cracked trash can, no vacuum cleaner (all 3 of these were replaced by property manager! Also, we did complain about fridge and property manager said owner agreed to replace, but when new one was brought to house, they could not install. MBR and master bath were ok at best! Second and third BRs and second bath were the nicest parts of the house! One of the worst things was in looking for cleaning supplies in laundry rm, we came upon a bottle of “bed bug killer”. Not something you want to see when renting! Several other issues, but these are the main ones!We were so turned off of this property that we left a week early! "
