Experience the best of Hawaii at our oceanfront one bedroom condo in beautiful, a wonderful place to spend time relaxing and becoming refreshed.
Enjoy the beauty of the sunrise from your lanai as turtles and whales swim by.
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city while remaining only a short drive away.
Our beachfront one-bedroom condominium is designed to provide a comfortable home for as many as four people to fully experience the beauty that is Hawaii. The gentle slope of the sandy beach makes it ideal for small children. Snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, swimming, are all available at your doorstep, as is the nature that lives at the beach. Turtles swim in the water and occasionally pull up onto the beach for a nap at night. Whales frolic in the water beyond the reef, easily visible from the living room and lanai of the unit's high-rise position. In a less populated area, stores and eating places are still available nearby, allowing all the advantages of a secluded getaway with few of the inconveniences.
Hiking trails and acres of tidal pools beckon the explorers.
Famous North Shore surf beaches just a short drive away.
Polynesian cultural Center just 10 minutes away.
Horseback riding, golf, tennis, and SCUBA available nearby.
The unit is a renovated large one-bedroom condo
It is well-equipped for your enjoyment, with a closet of beach equipment and toys and a well-equipped kitchen. There also is a landline phone for local calls, as well as a private WIFI network.
We are located on the Northeast shore of Oahu, approximately a 45-minute drive from Honolulu International Airport and Downtown Honolulu.
It is also accessible on CITY BUS route 60.


***PLEASE NOTE IMPORTANT****!!! No AC in this condo but there are ceiling and floor fans for your use.
Pat’s is currently undertaking renovations & spalling repairs, this work, which is expected to last until late 2025, will take place only during business hours & not on the weekends, but can produce VERY LOUD intermittent noise that will be heard in surrounding areas. You will want to be out and about during these times or at the beach. We have discounted the nightly rate significantly to reflect this.

Magical Memorable Month

Aloha! I recently spent a month on Oahu in this comfortable, clean condo. The views from the lanai were incredible! The grounds are well kept and groomed. The private beach was so enjoyable morning, noon and night. I felt safe during my stay. This condo complex is a very family friendly environment I met so many special new friends from all over the world during my monthly stay. The Host was excellent to work with. The communication was stellar and I had all the comforts of home in my condo. The pool was very clean and maintained daily. I am checking my calendar and planning another visit to this beach and condo in 2026. Mahalo!

This is an ideal base for exploring all of Oahu. Well away from the city crowds of Honolulu, this northeast coastal area just feels very Hawaiian.

We loved the beautiful sunrises every morning. The condo was near food trucks and markets. There were many beaches nearby. Our issue was that there is no air conditioning in the bedroom and the sofa bed was uncomfortable.

Great location by the Sea on Oahu

This location is fabulous. It is right on the beach and the 7th floor apartment with a balcony gave us a great view of the beach and turtles swimming in the ocean. Excellent food trucks are nearby. There is a beautiful view of the mountains from the front door. Would definitely stay here again.

Another great stay at Pat's at Punaluu

Do not hesitate to book this unit, as we were very happy with our stay. This was our 4th time we have rented a unit at Pat's and we will continue. The beach is fantastic, it is located within driving distance to a number of great restaurants and grocery stores. The owner has put a lot of care into her unit and our stay over the Christmas holidays was comfortable and relaxing. Thank you for hosting us...we will definitely be back!

Great Location for Exploring the North Shore of Oahu

We stayed at this VRBO property for three nights in mid-October. It is very well located for exploring the North Shore of Oahu and visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center. The property is on a beautiful beach and there are wonderful views of the Pacific Ocean, the reefs offshore, and sunrises in the morning. The mountains are right behind the building and add more spectacular views. Our unit was very well stocked with everything we needed.

Nice Unit with Great Beach View

Nice beach location with great views and sunrise watching but road noise detracted from our stay. Unit was well-equipped including lots of beach equipment, games and full kitchen needs. Was able to swim / snorkel right off of beach. Multiple turtles sighted. Unit appeared clean but some areas under furniture had not been cleaned in a while. Shower near beach was not working during our stay (only foot wash) making sand management a bit tough. Wi-Fi worked great.

The owner did not provide current instruction location of key safe, this started the stay on a bit of a rocky footing. Expected discount cards were not provided upon arrival as expected, but were delivered a few days later. Location was great, views were spectacular, and great value.

The unit was cozy and clean. The manager responded quickly with questions or concerns. The beach was beautiful. We knew construction was happening with the building but the downside was that it was happening at the unit next to us, so we were unable to use the lanai during the day.

Great Spot

Condo is located over fantastic beach and snorkeling bay. Major construction happening on condo but wasn't an issue. Condo bath and kitchen were both clean and comfortable. Suggest doing something about the bed - it unfortunately was a backbreaker for me.

Good budget option

Clean and as described in listing. View was spectacular. Kids did not like the pull out couch mattress, so slept on the couch and chaise lounge and then were happy. On the windward side of the island so very windy. Beach was small but good. Construction noise was significant but was well described in the listing. We hadn’t planned to be there much during the day, but had a sick kid one day so had to stay in, and that was rough with the noise. No AC so windows open at night and then temp in the unit was very nice, but road noise was super load all night even with earplugs. Will look for quieter option next time

Miss informed

Notified in advance about construction at the property. With three options. Cancel with refund, continue with reservation and get a 30% refund, or owner would pay the difference for a unit away from construction area. We said go with unit away from construction area. Received communication the day before arrival retracting her offer for the other unit. Leaving us with only option to cancel or accept 30%discount and keep the reservation with a statement that construction was ahead of schedule, no work being done near her unit along with very little noise. Elected to retain the unit at discounted price. Woke up first morning to two construction workers removing rebar from her balcony. No curtains in unit. Workers had full view of inside of unit while grinding and cutting in balcony during our full stay. Sent pictures to owners, of workers on lift while working on balcony. Owner has not contacted us or given us the refunded the discount. Not a good experience with this owner or unit.

Really nice apt in a great location and beach

This is an old building undergoing major renovation to both individual units and the exterior superstructure. The renovation appears to have started several years ago and continues M-F from 8a to 4p. There is significant noise from the work efforts, large vibration, jack hammer, and general work noise. The pool is closed M-F until 5p, and you may have to get security to unlock the pool. The units don't have AirCon, and it is not really needed when you open unit road side facing windows or door. Excellent cross wind most of the time. My unit has ceiling fans which keeps great circulation. However if you have to close up do to noise or smell, unit gets warm and stuffy very fast. There is significant road noise, as you are right on main road Rt 83. During the day not a major issue, but at night with bedroom on road side and windows open, you hear every car going by. This can be very disturbing. The window needs to be open at night to keep fresh cool air flow. There is a beautiful beach with soft white sand and easy access from the back green space. The green space has a number of lounge chairs, not enough for whole building, but people are good about sharing. There are many miles of beach and park within walking and easy drive, many options and types.

Close to my family in Kahuku

We enjoyed the trade winds going thru the condo when patio and front doors are opened because there is no air-conditioning. The bedroom was warm in the night which made it uncomfortable.The condo was fully stocked, kitchenware, spices, dishwashing soap, etc. which was great! I loved the washer and dryer which was very convenient. We loved being right at the beachfront. Lovely sunrises!! We'd stay there again. It appears construction was to begin, exterior?
