Cabin was so cozy, welcoming, comfortable, clean! We enjoyed it very much!We did purchase salt as it was very slippery walking to the deck! Yikes! We will return!!
The is very nice, clean, quiet, well maintained.
The bed was comfortable, nice double headed shower.
The pontoon was a great benefit, and we enjoyed fishing (even if our catches were only.ones).
We also really enjoyed eating and drinking at the restaurant right next door towels.
We definitely would go back again!
Great interior very much what we were looking for. It was a nice reset for both of us. Great places near by to dine out at. Thought it was on the water but it was set back behind a few cabins which was the only negative thing. Fireplaces were a major plus! Setting inside was Just perfect.
This property is really beautiful and peaceful. We stayed 4 nights to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was so relaxing. The lake is crystal clear and we even caught some northern pike. Thank you for a really beautiful vacation.
We had a great stay. The cabin was very nice, clean and comfy. The owners were nice and attentive. We had a small issue which was taken care of quickly with an email and phone call. The pontoon boat was like brand new which made cruising the lake very enjoyable.
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, clean, and well-appointed cabin. The wrap-around deck is very nice, and mornings & evenings spent on it with the lake in view were peaceful and enjoyable. The bedroom and the bathroom are both very spacious. Having central air conditioning is a plus, as is being within walking distance of a nice lakeside restaurant. We would definitely book here again should our plans take us to the Hayward area.
We enjoyed staying in the cabin, which is exactly as the description says and the photos show. The pontoon boat was nice and easy to access on the lake. It was an extremely short walk to the lake from the cabin. We also enjoyed the fire pit and a meal at the restaurant next to the cabin. The only recommendation I have is to bring extra comfy blankets, especially if visiting in colder months.
We had a bit of a hiccup when we arrived, but Keith was very responsive and helpful. Things happen and his sense of urgency was appreciated. The cabin is cute and cozy. The pontoon is a great amenity. Having Powell’s next door was very convenient. The whole resort has a vintage vibe in the best way.
The check in process was really smooth. The hosts were incredibly responsive via text. There is a parking lot near the property, but we still felt a high level of privacy thanks to all of the established trees in the area. The boat was wonderful and we loved tooling around the gorgeous lake. The cabin was so clean and the decor was super fun!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! We actually felt like the photos did not do it justice. Don't skip this one!!
As charming as this cabin is,it is about time for some new windows and patio door. We were not able to open and enjoy the breeze
You need a new fan in the bedroom, noice not usable. Also time for a good going over of the shower. Loved the pontoon and the beautiful lake. Very nice local restaurants
This cabin is a cozy way to enjoy some time on the lake. It isn't directly on the shore of the lake but you do get a view of the water and can appreciate the beauty of nature around you. Use of the pontoon boat is an added bonus to do some fishing or just ride around the lake.
The area provides many restaurant options and one within walking distance. We love the Hayward area and this cabin. We have stayed in this cabin many times through the years.
The cabin was just darling, well maintained, and quaint. LOVED the fireplaces and ease of operating them! However, I personally had a difficult time getting past the terrible smell of the water. It soured the hot tub experience. But the owners are forthcoming and up front about alerting renters about that issue, once you've paid.

Disliked: Location
Charming, well appointed cabin for two.
We loved the cabin. Our disappointment was that the cabin had a very limited view of the lake, and we actually had quite a good view of a commercial parking lot.. it rained all day and night during the time of our arrival. When we walked into the cabin, we were happy and delighted to see such a charming place with two fireplaces! One in the bedroom and one in the main room. There were many items and memorabilia to look at and talk about. Someone carefully and personally designed this cabin to assure that you feel at home. Saddened by strange location of the cabin, but we didn’t get to be outside so we didn’t actually have to see the parking lot too much. Because of the location , the price was about $100 too high. Nice job on the cabin though!
