The room was very clean. There was both a small table and a sofa to sit on. The bathroom was small but one of the most awesome bathrooms I have ever been in for a motel. Very tastefully decorated and extremely good use of space. We would definitely stay there again.

Likes: -Super cute rooms -Fire pit area with grill and seating -Beautiful deck/seating area overlooking river -Great water pressure -Clean -Great Staff Dislikes: -Bed was a bit too firm -Pull out bed had no sheets on it (it was late by the time i discovered this) Would I stay here again? We had a lovely stay at the Riverside. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the river. If we were staying longer, we would definitely have asked for one of the rooms with a river view. Next time we are in Hayward, we will certainly choose the Riverside.

Cute rustic decor. Bed comfortable. Clean. Only downer is the old low height toilet. Hard for us tall people (5’10). Manager/owner very friendly and personable. Great location.

A very beautiful property right on the river! We had a king size room that was very spacious and clean. The best part of the property was the staff. They were extremely friendly. We were able to have a bag of ice and fire wood outside for a fire pit at night. Great people. We will be back.
