PHNX Aparthotel Hamburg

"The room were very modern. I was very surprised of how nice they looked after walking into the lobby and seeing the added ramp and the 2 worn out chairs I was like oh oh. But after going into the elevator room and getting into our room I was like NICE. Very nice and clean. The only issue is that the shower is a bit too small and when you have the windows open the skunk smell from that type of smoking cones in. So if you staying during the summer I do t know how you get some cool air into the room. Walls are very thin, we got neighbors on both sides on our last night, we stayed 5 nights, and you could hear them cough and I think somebody was smoking in the room next to our bed and somehow the smell came in our room, not much but enough for me to smell it even though the rooms are none smoking. There is nobody at the lobby so you do your own Check-in and you grab a key and activate it. The Hamburg/Harburg train station is right in front. The phone mall is right there and there is an Aldi's and EDEKA supermarket across the mall. Very convenient location. You will not hear the trains if you have the windows close. It has fridge, small stove that we did not know how to use and a microwave."

"I loved this hotel!! We stayed here for a cruise shipping from Hamburg. From the moment you walk in, to the minute you leave, the front desk staff is so helpful and pleasant!! They cater to your needs. They can arrange taxi transportation, just let them know where you need to go and at what time you would like the taxi to pick you up and they will arrange all for you, you just need to be in the lobby at that time that you’re expecting the taxi . We are from USA, all spoke English, room clean with white comfortable beds ( not hard or too soft) beds, pillows are soft, they provide slippers, robe and a small kit with essentials (tooth brush, tooth paste, etc.), it is located steps away from the harbor (maybe a 2 minute walk), it has a hop on hop off bus stand next to the hotel(maybe 50 step’s away) it’s in the heart of everything. You have mini markets, souvenirs shops, quick local food as well as excellent restaurants, all within walking distance. At night very upbeat with crowd everywhere. My husband is 70 I’m 60 (we act more like in our 40’s :) )and we felt very safe walking around. You will never hear any of the commotion from the streets in your room and the view is to die for. Our view was of the harbor and the city, just beautiful and breathtaking. Their breakfast has everything that you would like to eat from vegan food to any type of meat, yogurt, cereal, jams cheese, eggs, offered as omelette, boiled, fried, all type of bread. We will definitely return!!"
