"Great location! Especially if you want to explore the city by walking. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious. There was a nice outside seating area where you can enjoy coffee or hot chocolate, which was complimentary from the hotel. It is a charming hotel!"

"Rooms are basic but clean and bed was really comfortable. The blinds were remotely control, therefore felt a bit vulnerable due to office block directing options. No access to heating/AC in room again this is done remotely. Apprently a kettle is available from reception, but was unaware until last night. Breakfast was good, all fresh but limited on variety. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and have noticed the reduction overtime in amenities avaliable in the rooms. However the staff and location is always excellent. "

"Clean room, just very warm and stuffy. Air con turned on as low as it went but rooms were still very warm. Good WiFi and amenities in the room. "

"The room was very clean. The staff was extremely helpful. I got very sick in the middle of the night and had to go to the ER and the night staff was very helpful and supportive and called me a taxi. Breakfast was fine. The machine actually makes a very good coffee and the buffet had everything. Juice was fresh squeezed. "

"Perfectly central to the main attractions of Basel, around 15 minute walk to Rhine river, and to Basel SBB train station. Staff were so welcoming and showed us to our room! Would honestly stay again!"

"Did not see a pool - or a gym - there was not even a relaxing area. There was no-one on reception on arrival. And the building itself felt like a concrete hostel block. I have zero idea how this hotel ever got a 4 star rating. The rooms were clean, comfy and equipped as advertised and the continental breakfast was plentiful."
