"A lovely hotel very (easy walk with bags) close to the railway station and tram stops. Walkable to old town (10-15 minutes) and a good breakfast. The room was modern with the refrigerator stocked with some soft drinks, juice, beer and Prosecco included. Extremely helpful staff who made us dinner recommendations and reservations at a local restaurant 5 minutes from the hotel door. A nice grocery store was also next door where we purchased salads and sandwiches. Would stay again. "

"Booked a room for two adults and one child. When we got to our room, the sofa bed was not made, found a spare duvet and pillow in the cupboard but no sheet. My son just used the duvet to wrap himself. The next day, our room was cleaned, bed was made, but not the sofa bed. We should probably have asked for the sheet but as we were only there for three nights, we didn’t bother. We just took the duvet cover for my son to use it as a sheet. On the plus side, hotel is very close to the station, receptionist who checked us in was very welcoming. Great selection of breakfast. "

I understand this doesn’t always happen, but it was great to get to my room a couple of hours early. My room was lovely with a view of the church. The hotel is in a fantastic location and is perfect for exploring the narrow streets of the old town, but it’s also just steps away from the main shopping area, the river, and other highlights of Basel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and I would highly recommend this Hotel."
