"This property is located on top of a small hill in Aswan. The river view from the window is amazing. It’s a new resort which has been operated for three years. The facilities are new and clean. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the dinner at the pool side. It’s a pleasant memory with my patents. The only thing is that you will have to call a cab if you would like to have meals in Aswan downtown. "

Tipping is part of the Egyptian tourist culture and I found myself wanting to share because of the profound humility and generosity of everyone I met. And the Kato Waidi Nubian Village has a vibrant Bazaar with wonderful artwork and souvenirs to remember the journey! "

"A nice hotel, with first class staff. When I was booking in I was asked what I had planmed for tomorrow, I said I was getting picked up at 0400 to go to Abu Simbel, and right away I was offered a boxed breakfast, top notch. Good sized room with a usable balcony. Plenty of room in the shower etc. Breakfast was a good selection. I would happily stay here again"
