The big problem with this room was the bar was below it and outside area where people smoked and the smell of smoke drifted in to the room even though the window was closed. "The hotel has an amazing spa and good beds, but the service is flat or nonexistent and the rooms could use an update. Especially the mold in bathroom. As other guests comment: the amount of add ons and lack of basic amenities (coffee/snacks throughout day, more varied food options, room amenities) was a turn off. "I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Skandia. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The location is perfect - a short walk from the train station. The castle was also only a short walk. The street food centre was also very close with some excellent choices."
