"Long past its prime, this hotel is in need of renovation and updating. The lack of in-room climate control was especially bothersome. Some of the staff were incredibly professional and helpful, others seemed absolutely bothered. We left after our first night and had bites to our exposed skin for the rest of our time in Shanghai, which we believe must have come from the hotel. Location is ok but not nearly as convenient as others on Nanjing Road or the the Bun. "

"Right In the heart of the city, surrounded by endless restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Steps to multiple bus lines and subway. Our room is large and with big windows. Room service is very good! I will stay again. The only thing is the carpet, it would be super nice if the hotel can change their outdated carpet."

"Spacious and comfortable room. Good fitness centre and large pool. Itbia right above the Hengshan Road subway station which ia very convenient. Located in a quiet area but not far to walk to busier parts of the French Concession with more cafes, shops etc"

"This hotel is tucked away in a quiet portion of the French Concession and served me well as a jumping off point to explore the city. Metro users note Line 1 is just around the corner about 4-5 minutes walk and is much closer than Zhaojiabang Rd. stop on Line 7/9. They also provide complimentary bottled water in the elevator lobbies, so it is super convenient to grab some when headed to your room."
