Awesome!!!

5 star all the way. Comfortable room in a great location right on the main market square. Restaurant is upscale with delicious food. Town is charming to walk around. Overall great place to stay.

The hotel is in a beautiful area. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. The “spa” room was amazing. We ate dinner at the hotel and our server, Gianna was very helpful in translating the menu and explaining the dishes. Her recommendations were very good! She also answered our questions about the school and health systems of Germany.

This hotel is an excellent place to stay if you want to be away from the big city and enjoy the small town feel. The rooms are modern, clean, and the staff friendly. The parking situation was difficult to figure out and is limited to a handful of vehicles. The hotel has its own restaurant and there are three other restaurants around the square. We stayed during the month of June and the daytime high temperatures varied from around 65F to 75F during our stay. There was no air conditioning for our room, but the windows opened allowing for the cool night air. One day, construction started on a neighboring building just before 6:00AM and was very loud which woke me up. I do not recommend staying at this hotel in the middle of the summer unless you don't mind waiting until the late evening for the room to cool off.

This is a cosy little hotel with an excellent location right on the square of this charming part of the old town of Heppenheim. If you plan to come by car, there is a parking area at the hotel, but to get there is rather tricky. I had to park a distince from the hotel, and walk and ask the friendly staff how to get to their parking area. (Google Map or my navigation the car had no idea ...) I will recommend that you call the hotel before arriving

Einige Details fehlten für die volle Punktzahl, zB ein Mineralwasser als Willkommensgruss auf dem Zimmer oder eine Kleenex-Box. Zimmer wurde nicht virgeheitzt und war entsprechend kalt. Das Essen im Restaurant war hervorragend.

Parkeringspladsen var helt forfærdelig. Den var svær at finde og meget lille. Da vi skulle afsted næste morgen kunne vi ikke komme ud, fordi folk parkerede på kryds og tværs.

Sånn passe...

Fin beliggenhet midt på det gamle torget, men vanskelig å ta seg frem med bil da de fleste gatene er sperret. Innsjekkingen var lagt opp til å være helautomatisk via en maskin i gangen, men det var en resepsjon tilknyttet restauranten. Fikk ingen god velkomst når vi startet med å spørre om parkering. Følte oss ikke velkomne, mer til bry... Parkeringen var dessuten full, og vi ble uoppfordret fortalt at om vi skulle ha mat i kveld måtte vi gå et annet sted da restauranten også var full (vi ankom kl 1545 på ettermiddagen). Vi overnatter mye i Tyskland, og er vant til en smilende velkomst, det fikk vi i hvertfall ikke her. Rommet var OK, men helt basic, selv om det skulle være "superior". Kun en seng, en stol og et slags skrivebord i forlengelse av skapet. Litt utdatert, brunoransje gulvtepper. Badet var nytt og fresht, men trangt. Frokosten var bra, og utsjekk gikk bedre enn innsjekk, selv om vi først ble bedt om å betale selv om vi hadde forhåndsbetalt. Alt i alt greit nok, veldig vakre omgivelser med gamle bindingsverkshus. Vi valgte dette hotellet basert på bilder og gode omtaler, men kommer nok til å velge et annet hotell neste gang vi skal innom Heppenheim.

😟 Lage exponiert, aber das Zimmer…

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt: Direkt am historischen Marktplatz gelegen. Das Hotel selbst ist ebenfalls historisch, offenbar auch der Staub im Zimmer. Das Zimmer insgesamt macht einen schmuddeligen Eindruck (Gardine nicht fest, gammeliger Teppich vor dem Bett). Das Bad war ok und sauber. Mitbewohner/in: grosse Spinne). Fensterausblick: direkt vor Hauswand des Nachbarhauses (Zimmer 4).
