"Located just 1 mile from the cruise terminal it is the perfect place for a pre or post cruise stay. There has been some investment since we last stayed here when it was a Best Western, but the creaky, miniscule elevator remains next to reception. In fairness I'm not sure what they could do to improve it without major construction work.
Sea view rooms really do have a good sea view. Note though that the rooms over the bar area, no matter what floor, are invaded by the very loud live music rising upwards.
Check-in when a cruise is disembarking is slightly chaotic, lots of luggage to store, nowhere to store it but the staff do their level best.
Very handy for the town centre, car rentals or a visit to the castle."
