Easy Peasy no frills spot. Loved how close it was to the park and walking distance from some lovely breakfast spots. I did try to get more towels but no one was there at night to give towels, but that's ok. Lovely complimentary baked goods in the morning! Note that during the day and night until park closing you do hear scream from the rollercoasters, but you don't hear them inside rooms really.
This was a fantastic spot to stay right in Hershey. There is a pool (above ground), a grill and a fire pit that you can use. We loved the atmosphere!
The bathroom tile was very retro. Also, the bed was the most comfortable on my whole trip. We will definitely be back.
The rooms were old school but clean and charming. I saw some reviews that said the beds were hard but my bed was not hard at all.
The front desk staff were super helpful. A great, quiet, no frills place to lay your head, walking distance to lots of food options, and within 5 minutes of Hershey Park.
Room clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Older motel but don’t let that stop you from staying here. Parking lot was full when I returned in evening however I parked on street right in front.
This motel was a great value. The staff and check-in was smooth. The unit was clean with a comfortable bed and had a nice decor. The bathtub was dated and would back up a little while taking a shower. Consider this a good overnight stay for 1-4 days at a great value.
The property was perfect for our one night stay. Desk staff was super friendly and knowledgable about the area. It is an old school place but kept up very well and right in downtown Hershey so, close to everything.
Had a great stay, last week, at the Simmons. Smack in the middle of Chocolate Ave, minutes walking distance to great food, shops, Hidden Still distilling right behind the hotel and Yah brewing. And for the price, you just can beat the value. There is so much history behind the Simmons. You just don't see family-owned motels anymore. Sandy at the front desk was most helpful. It was an easy check in. She was very knowledgeable of places to eat and things to do near by. Looking forward to our next stay there!
