"As expected, beautiful spacious rooms with a refined and thoughtful local setting on a beautiful garden with the best looking Koi in Japan. Staff were friendly, responsive and helpful. We had to find a driver the night before when our guide cancelled and they found an amazing driver, fluent in English who kindly offered to also be our guide. Japan of course is overflowing with unimaginably courteous, kind and intentional people but still the hotel really helped us make the most of our last...

"Amazing location, room 1 had view of Yasaka Pagoda right outside the window. Units were very comfortable and had everything we needed, small kitchen, laundry and wonderful bathroom with soaking tubs. Staff was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We stayed with kids and another family. One thing to note, because of tourist crowding on the street it’s not possible for taxi/uber to get right to the hotel, you need to walk a bit to get there. Fine for us but just something to know."
