Great summer vacation for a big group!

Our friends and family had an awesome time here. The outdoor space was beautiful and the indoor living space and great spots for playing games, cooking dinner, reading, and hanging out — we could all be together while enjoying different activities. Highly recommend!

You MUST rent this home!

This property went above and beyond our expectations. The house is huge and the backyard was a gorgeous oasis. Just a 2 min walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to shops and icecream. It was the perfect getaway for our family!

Perfect for families

My husband and I spent an amazing week with a few friends at this lovely family house. All the rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The location is great - a couple minutes walk to the beach. Access to shopping and dinning are equally convenient. The house has everything we need. Everyday we had the choice of dining out or making our own version of gourmet meal either outside on the grill or in the spacious kitchen.The heated pool and jacuzzi are nice touch. We couldn't be happier with the house!

Great experience!! Loved our vacation at this house

Beautifully decorated spacious beach retreat. Easily accommodates 4 families and the master suite is an extra bonus that certainly makes the house even more appealing. The oversized grill makes it easy to cook food for the whole crew while enjoying the the pool and hot tub, which are right outside the sliding glass doors from the large living room. Everything you need for your vacation is right in the house, no need to pack anything. Even though this rental has everything you need the newly remodeled vacation home is located within a block of the beach, while still being centrally located to shopping and restaurants. As close as it is to the beach it’s roughly the same distance to Coligny Plaza where you have restaurants, shops and everything else you could need for the week. Close enough to everything but you still feel like you are away on your own island, perfect retreat to escape the busy life. I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone who is looking for that weeklong getaway with a group in Hilton Head.

Very Nice House at the Right Location

The house is very nice. Nicely decorated, and the bedrooms are split up that it keeps different groups separated. The location is as good as you are going to get with the beach just at the end of the street, and Coligny Plaza a very short walk away. My only negative was that I paid for a full week of pool heat and when we arrived, the pool and spa were ice cold. When I called, they seemed responsive but were unable to get anyone out to turn it on that day, and by the time they turned it on the following day, it wasn't warm enough until late that night. I was disappointed with the follow up from 5 star on this issue, but they did end up resolving it. They have not reimbursed me for the 2 missed days of pool heat as of this post, which is disappointing. My only other complaint is just about Hilton Head in general. I've never been to a place that housed more pretentious jerks in my entire life. I'll never return simply because the locals treated you like absolute garbage. They should be a little more appreciative that tourists dump their money into that area to help keep it nice, because without them, that area would not be nearly as well maintained.

It was as bad as it could be

I’m 44 years old and have written one negative review in my life before today. I feel compelled to warn people about this property. The pictures are not current. Tons of things were broken, or broke while we were there. We constantly had roofers, electricians, pool people, handy men ect. fixing things. We were told untrue information about the hot tub when we called. It did not work. Honestly the location is fantastic, but the property could not be worse. Stains on the couches...bugs everywhere. We bought sheets to cover the couches and were still grossed out. The property management people were not truthful, then continually dodged our calls. There were countless other issues. To their credit, they refunded 2 nights out of our 10 nights. We did not feel that was fair. Stay away from this props and Five Star Management.

Great Location, Nice house and good property management.

The pictures show exactly how the house is, just keep in mind that real estate photographers use a wide angle lens. So will look slightly bigger than it actually is, especially the pool. The pool is nice to cool off, though not big enough for swimming. The jacuzzi style part is nice. The kitchen is well stocked with adequate vessels. Everything was cleaned properly, the linen was clean. It was perfect size for our group of 3 families (6 adults, 5 kids). Though there are 6 bedrooms, the common gathering area is only big enough for 3-4 families. The sofa in living room needs an upgrade. The cue sticks for the pool table all had broken tips, which was a real bummer. Reported to property manager, but she couldn't find a replacement locally. The toaster was dirty, which was replaced with a new one. The grill was overall neat with a spare propane tank, but we did one more round of cleaning to get it to our satisfaction before using. Everything else was in good condition. The main TV in the living room is not a smart tv, so you may want to bring a laptop and hdmi cable for movie night. Had mixed feelings about the property management. Did not receive any phone calls or emails from property manager prior to check-in. The guest portal said it will be populated with the check-in codes on the day of check-in, but it did not. Was very difficult to get anyone on the phone, probably because agents might be working remotely due to COVID. The code that was finally emailed had a typo and did not work. Was waiting at the front door for 15 mins waiting to get someone on the phone. After check-in the property manager connected through txt messages and was very prompt. Would have been nice if the connect was made prior to check-in. The location is awesome, just two mins walk from the beach. And it is bit away from the public access part of the beach, so pretty quiet. Overall, the stay was a very nice experience and would definitely recommend this place. The minor glitches mentioned are for the attention of property management to improve.

This was a perfect fit for our family of 10. The pool area was a favorite of the kids, and the adults loved biking and walking. The beach was lovely! Everything about this stay was wonderful!

This house was very comfortable and had plenty of rooms for people to stay. The walk to the beach was very short and everyone enjoyed staying together. It also had plenty of blankets, pillows, and other utilities that a family would need for a nice and relaxing vacation.

Fantastic all around beach house

I’ll keep this short and sweet. The backyard oasis is fabulous. The layout is perfect. 60 second walk to beach. Couple blocks to Coligny. I pick a different house every year and this one blew us away with its awesomeness. Don’t worry about it just choose this one. Oh and the other thing that made it so much better is that the main living area is on the main level.

Multi-Family Vacation

This property is amazing! Everything from past negative reviews has been fixed; it was very clean, the beds comfy and all decor is beachy and not outdated at all. The outside space really is an oasis and made this house the reason we chose it, and it did not disappoint! The ping pong table was a sweet surprise as it is not in any pictures. The very short walk to the beach was an awesome as well. The only complaint is that the fire pit is not available so guests should be informed of this. We bought fixings for smores and couldn’t use them. The listing needs to be updated and maybe remove the picture of the fire pit. It’s listed in one place that guests cannot use it, but in another place it’s listed as an amenity. Besides that little thing, this beach house exceeded our expectations and was the perfect place for our families to come together!

Fabulous outdoor space and plenty of variety inside too. Our family gathering of 13 were comfortable and the walk to the beach was short and easy, and Coligny Plaza offers plenty to do when not relaxing in the yard or on the beach

Great location for beach lovers

The pool was nice. The kids loved it. Ages 3 to 10. When all 15 of us were in the pool it was a little small. The pool got cloudy on us a couple of times so I think it needs more attention when the heat index is over 100 and the pool is seeing a lot of use. Most of the mattresses have seen their better days. Could use some updating there. The bathrooms were very functional and that is always a plus. The short, less than 5 minute walk to the beach, was a huge plus! The water filter in the refrigerator needed replacing while we were there and it took a couple of days to order it and get it replaced. We had to buy some extra bottled water as a result. You might want to order some extra water filters so that they are on hand when needed. We had a couple of TV''s that we could not use in the bedrooms as there were apparent issues with Spectrum.

Perfect house

This house was perfect for our family. The 6 bedrooms and 6 baths gave our group plenty of space and privacy. We loved the outdoor space also, it was like having our own little park. Also the kids had a lot of fun with the pool table. The management company handled any problem quickly and efficiently. They were good communicators. I would rent from this company again.

Great Family Spring Break House

This property far exceeds most places we have stayed in the past! It was spacious, well appointed, and centrally located. Furniture was newly updated, both inside and out, and tastefully decorated. The description is spot-on, but doesn't tell the whole story. We expected less (really, pictures never seem to meet reality), but were wowed when we entered. It felt newly painted in tones that scream "beach house!" And the pool and spa just outside the glass doors of the great room seemed part of the room itself. The bedrooms were spacious with lots of closet space and contemporary bathrooms. Highly functional, well designed, and upscale kitchen, but it needs a better stock of cookie sheets, 9 x 13 baking dishes, etc...for cooking. The management company was great and responded to the few needs we had. Also, you should note that the term "spa" suggests a heated hot tub, but is integrated with the pool. There is an uncharge for it and the pool to be heated. You will definitely want it heated in the spring or fall! It worked great for our family. We are already planning to return to this property next spring.
