Great Beach Getaway!

Very enjoyable week! Very simple check-in and Check-out. Very clean and well appointed. Comfy beds. Super close proximity to both pools and beach! Conveniently located Mid Hilton Head Island-close to everything. Highly recommend!

Perfect first level location- quick walk to pools and beach

Angie (the owner) was quick to respond, kind, and solution driven every time we reached out. Condo was very clean and had all that we needed. Stayed in for most meals (B,L & D) so items required for prep/cooking/storage were available and in great shape. Beds were really comfortable (a huge for our bad backs). Would definitely stay here again!!

Great location and great neighborhood.

We love Palmetto Dunes and Villamere is in a perfect beachfront location. Our kids love the pool and the direct beach access is great! This unit was very clean and spacious with a fantastic view of the ocean.

Beautiful comfortable condo!

We stayed 1 week in this beautiful condo! The owners are top notch and have kept this unit very clean and comfortable. The master bed is so comfortable and that is huge for us. Our kids loved it. We enjoyed being right near the pool and beach. I highly recommend renting from Angie! You will not regret it!

Incredible Vacation

We had an incredible vacation and loved this property! The pool and and beach are right out the front door and it was easy to access (by car and bike) all sorts of food and recreation options. The check-in and check-out process were seamless and communication with the owners was timely, warm, and professional. 10 out of 10!

This unit at Villa Mare has been the best yet. Angie was a joy. She was very responsive and provided all the information needed for an easy check-in process. The unit is lovely. Well decorated and the beds are comfy. Great views and close to the pool and beach access.

Confortable and Convenient

Having visited Hilton Head several times, this was our first time at Villamare. The unit was comfortable and convenient to the beach and the facilities were very nice. It was off-season, and the pool was closed.

Just perfect!

The condo was just lovely ... the decor was tasteful and comforting. The view was great, with the lagoon fountain just off the deck - really enjoyed morning coffee there. Our check-in/check-out process was seamless, and our hosts very responsive and helpful. Thank you, Rick and Angie, for sharing your beautiful place with our family! We would definitely return.

Absolutely beautiful!!!

We have been staying at Villamare for the past 8 years and this was our favorite condo yet! It is beautiful inside and a wonderful location! Steps away from the pool and beach and a fabulous view! Excellent communication from the owner. She even took the time to call us to let us know the cleaning of the condo was done and we could get in a little earlier. Will definitely rent from Angie and Rich again!

Beautiful condo and perfect for our family

The condo was beautiful and just as described! A short walk to the beach along with a beautiful ocean view, which is just what we were looking for. It was perfect for our family. The grounds at Villamare are gorgeous and very well maintained. The grills were great to use, and the seating area and swings were a very nice touch and very enjoyable. We only had a minor issue with the disposal, and Angie was very quick to respond and get it taken care of right away with no inconvenience to us. She was also very thoughtful to check in on us during some bad weather. We would highly recommend staying at this condo, and we would love to stay here again.

Beautiful condo!

Everything was perfect from day 1. Check in was the easiest I have ever had and we needed nothing as the unit was fully equipped with everything. It was so nice having clean linens and towels provided on arrival. The unit is beautiful. My children loved the closeness of the pool and beach and sitting out on the balcony in the morning watching the turtles play in the pond was a nice treat! Communication with the owner was very professional and she provided everything we needed for a seamless check in and check out. We would absolutely love to go back to Villamare 1104 next year for our vacation!!

We will be back!

Our must haves for vacation: A quiet, low-key location. Walking distance to shops and/or restaurants. Spacious, clean accommodations with super comfortable beds. A beautiful beach. An owner who cares whether you enjoy your time while you're staying at their home. And let me tell you, this rental exceeded all our must-haves! What surprised us most about this unit, however, was the amount of privacy it had; we never heard people beside or above us and there was no foot traffic outside the unit. The community is very well maintained, safe and family friendly. The unit had very large bedrooms, three TVs, two balconies, great views and a spacious kitchen/dining/living area. The beach is wide, clean and very walkable. And Sharon is beyond superb; extremely helpful, attentive and communicative. We walked to the Marriott in the morning for smoothies, enjoyed the beach and pool during the day and went to the Dunes House in the afternoon for peel and eat shrimp. Go to the grocery store at the beginning of your stay, stock up and you never need to get back in your car! We are already planning our return trip.

Villamare in Palmetto Dunes Vacation

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciate the owners letting us use their condo. The location is great. First floor unit with easy access to stairs. I was a little concerned about being on the first floor, but there is a parking garage below the building so you're not right on the ground for everyone to see into the condo, and you're high enough that you have a view of the ocean. Easy access to the beach and pools. The pools were really nice. Each pool area had a hot tub, which we used because we had a couple of chilly days. Lots of area to lounge around and relax. The complex is just inside the Palmetto Dune gate so you're close enough to the general store, bike rentals, and pickleball to be able to walk. Overall it was pretty quiet. There were some kids staying above us and we could hear them jumping around every so often, but it wasn't too annoying and it stopped pretty early so wasn't bothersome at night. The King bed was comfortable enough. It was a little too soft for my liking, but we slept fine. The two queen beds are a little firmer but were also comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The sofas were ok. Comfortable enough to watch TV for a little while, but not great, in my opinion. My only complaint is that there are no screens on the two sliding glass doors. The weather was nice enough to have the doors open, which we did, but that also meant a few flying bugs got in. Worth it to feel the breeze and hear the ocean.

We had the best time at this property for our summer vacation! We have been coming to HH for a few years now but this was our first time at Villamare, and its safe to say our expectations were met with flying colors! The host was so great and easy to commicate with during our check in process! This condo unit was plenty big for our 2 families (8 guests, 4 kids under 10 yrs old). Kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed to cook a few meals in so we didnt have to fight the crowds at restaurants if we didnt want to.The newly updated pool and hottubs were fantastic! We especially loved how each morning the water temperature was regulated back to cold as it was a very hot week and jumping into a hot pool is no fun! This units location is just steps from the pool and the walk to the beach at Villamare is shorter and easier than most places! We liked being on the first floor so we didnt have to wait for any elevators. Beaches at HH are amazing for younger kids and we could barely get our kids out of the water!Our kids also loved feeding the turtles in the ponds on the way to the beach/pool. This property has it all and there is nothing we didnt enjoy! Look forward to visiting again!!

Perfectly, perfect :)

The condo is extremely clean and has an amazing view! It was the perfect size for our family of four—two adult children, we could have easily fit two more adults. The beach, pools (family and 21 and over), and hot tubs are quickly accessed from the condo. Palmetto Dunes is a peaceful, family-friendly area that is close to everything—Coligny, Harbor Town, Shelter Cove, the grocery store, and Fish Haul Beach. Be sure to rent bicycles and ride the bike paths—beautiful resort. The owners were quick to reply to all messages and made check in/out extremely easy. However, there really wasn’t much of a reason to reach out to them—no issues.

Great stay with a few exceptions.

Villamare is such a wonderful place to stay. We absolutely love it there. We had a great stay, the convenience to the pool and beach from the room were great. The only thing that I would suggest would be maybe some new mattresses. They were extremely uncomfortable and dirty with stains on them. The condo really needs a good update and cleaning as there was dust an inch thick behind the beds and furniture. The light in the master shower flickers as well so not sure if it is an electrical issue or not. My family and I would definitely stay here again with the hopes of some updates. Angie was was a great host and very responsive.

Great overall

We have been going to Hilton Head for over 10 years now. We have stayed once at the former Marriott, twice at Captains Walk and several times at the Omni. While we had good experiences before, this was the best overall experience. The condo is clean; not too much or too little furniture; a well supplied kitchen and a great washer and dryer. The layout is great. At Captain's Walk for example, the second bedroom does not have a window and is along the outer hallway. This condo has a slider and separate balcony for the guest bedroom. The condo is located just outside the pond (with some fun wildlife watching) and fountain which provides nice white noise if other guests are on their balcony. You have a view of the ocean and are steps from the pool without having the noise. There is very little foot traffic outside the condo because of it's location, which is better than a hotel hallway. The first floor location is great for convenience, but is higher than ground level so there is privacy. The two pools are very nice and access to the beach is very convenient. All the grounds are very well maintained. This is one property where the pictures and description on the website match what you get. Although I didn't need to contact Angie too much, she was very responsive and very nice. I highly recommend this property. We will definitely stay at this property again!
