They asked me for my alien registration card. When I explained that I am a resident they should have asked for ID as they would with any Japanese national. It’s up to me if I want to show that card unless I’m being asked by a police officer. Gave my local driver’s license instead. There’s an automated checkin machine but you have to do a manual checkin then use the auto machine to pay and get your room key. It’s a little redundant. No cereal in the breakfast area. Other than that the hotel was clean, quiet and close to the station.

朝食付きを利用しました。 品数は多くはないものの、地域を代表する食べ物が揃えられ、遠方から伺った私たちには、　とても満足できるものでした。おでんや明石焼きなど出汁が美味しいですね。 3人で宿泊したせいか、客室は手狭を感じました。 脱衣洗面所の間仕切りがなく、カーテンで仕切るようになっていました。広く見せるための、アイデアかと思いますが、よくいえばシンプルイズベスト、悪くいえばプライバシーがあまり保たれていない感じがしました。脱いだ衣服の置き場がないのは使いづらいですね。 全体的には、清潔感が高く、セキュリティも保たれており、隣室や上下階からの音も静かでよいホテルと感じました。

Hotel is in a perfect area for the station and Himeji Castle. Staff were very polite and patient with my not-so-good Japanese. Room was spacious and perfect for a solo traveller. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying over in Himeji.

19時30分くらいに到着して、疲れたのでコーヒーなどの飲み物があるとの記載があったので、楽しみにしていましたが、コーヒーの機械を押しても水がほとんどのコーヒーしか出ず、飲めるものではありませんでした。他の飲み物も同じ感じでぬるかったですし。フリードリンク終了の時間までちゃんと機械のチェックをしてほしかったです。コンビニまで買いに行きました。 朝食会場にいたスタッフの方はとても素敵で朝から爽やかな気持ちになれたので、プラスマイナスゼロになりました。
