"The tiny home is very tiny. Upon arrival the place was hot from the sun, and very dusty under the bed and dead bugs in the window sills. Glad we like camping, felt like that with the chemical toilet, minus the fire pit and bbq. Lots of windows but location is directly between two houses and on a busy road, not in a backyard with privacy to sit out without feeling like you are sitting in a stage. Ad is inaccurate, and host doesn’t respond till 12 hours later and a second contact attempt??? ...

"We 100% recommend this property to anyone who wants to explore this stunning part of NZ. Our only regret is not having more time to utilise the kayaks and take in the sights of the river.The house is very modern and comfortable and where very surprised with a well stocked fridge of homemade goodies for our breakfast the next day. "The air conditioner was broken and there was no heating from the second day and it was cold. The battery of the electronic key ran out and I couldn't put it in for about 2 hours. I contacted the owner in a hurry, but it was a pity that he prioritised his errands and did not respond immediately. ( It may be normal in New Zealand, but it was very uneasy for people who came from abroad for the first time)"
