"The whole staff were extremely friendly very very helpful being Canadians who don’t speak Norwegian we rely on them to help us with the parking. Also to help with the menu in the restaurant that was in Norwegian. I would highly recommend this hotel. We had a room at the top with the balcony looking over the water absolutely fantastic. A highlight of our vacation."

"A beautiful Scandinavian-style vacation home, tastefully furnished and very well equipped. Located at the end of the fjord in a vacation home community, though somewhat remote; the property’s own boat is too small for more than 3 people and for longer trips. Since the ferry to Risør was discontinued on August 26, we had to drive 40 minutes to get there. Beautiful, but very secluded in the off-season: the canoe trip on Skarvann. The archipelago tour with Jürgen’s boat taxi comes highly recommended. Lots of nature and peace and quiet! It might be a completely different experience during peak season!"

"Spacious, beautiful location, very luxurious home with all the bells and whistles. The view is breathtakingly beautiful! And the home’s interior is very cozy and thoughtfully designed. It’s also great that there are seating areas under the porch. There’s nothing to complain about with this vacation home. Everything is top-notch!"
