"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, primarily because of the spectacular balcony room with a view. The staff were accommodating and the restaurant food was very good. My only complaint was the very uncomfortable bed that seemed to be from the last century. The furnishings in the room were worn with some tears. The panoramic view from our balcony negated the somewhat other disappointments of the room itself. If upgrades were made, it could be a 5 star hotel!"

"The hotel is in a nice location in Beckenried with great views of the lake from the balcony. The room itself was a little dated. It would be much more pleasant to stay there during the warmer months if they had air conditioning. And the room was lacking a refrigerator which most hotels have these days. The breakfast buffet was very good and offered a nice variety of food options."

"Absolutely beautiful view from room, delicious food, excellent service. Historic charming property. A little older as it was built in 1870, but we'll taken care of and property updated. Come with the proper expectation and you will be very happy."

"Property is in an amazing location. Don't let the transit to the hotel scare you off. We did boat transfer and once we figured out the schedules it was a super efficient system to get out and about to explore. Staff was super helpful, couldn't ask for more such a relaxing stay. Would absolutely book again!"

"This place is nice, although doesn’t have AC so room was very warm. If you open the windows at night, street is moderately loud as it’s a main road. Shared bathroom and shower were clean. Very nice beach to swim and relax. Breakfast was good!"

"Charming. Love the proximity to the lake. The pool is wonderful. Food is very good. Staff very friendly and hard-working. If the weather is very hot opt for a lower floor. We stayed on the 4th floor and it was very hot and some of the windows did not open. We are hearty and made it work with a fan and cold swim before bed but it was not ideal. The view is fairy-tale-like. Would go back and get a lower floor with balcony"
