Only ten miles down the road is Holland, Michigan, home to Hope College and the famous Tulip Time Festival. Visit Holland's scenic Lake Macatawa resort area, beautiful State Park, and wonderful downtown selection of upscale shops, microbreweries and restaurants.

Renters will need to bring soaps and personal items. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, pillows, and blankets. For your convenience, we have linens and towels on site for guest use. Guests are limited to 8 and only three vehicles may be kept at the property. Nearby off-site parking available for additional vehicles.

We had a lovely experience. Drake, the owner, was very kind and communicative through out the process. The cabin is perfect for a family trip; we enjoyed visiting the small beach/pier within a short walk from the cabin; Oval Beach and all the shopping and restaurants of Saugatuck and Douglas were less than a 10 minute drive. We will definitely be back in the future!

Perfect woodsy retreat. The dock picture and listing is actually a community dock. Just a small walk down the road but very well maintained. Quiet little lake for activities.Convenient to highways for day trips. If you googled the property, it backs up to Saugatuck Dune Rides, but they close around 4 PM so no noise issues in the evening. We had a great stay! I would definitely rent this property again.

Our family had a terrific time at Bear Cabin! It was clean and comfortable with bonus play space in the basement (ping-pong and air hockey). We cooked most meals at the cabin, and the fully loaded kitchen made it easy. The private lake is nice, but we really loved going to explore the many beaches in the area (Lake Michigan). We also had a great time on a Dune Ride excursion (just minutes from the cabin) and kayaking in Wade's Bayou in downtown Saugatuck. We will definitely be back to the area, and we wouldn't hesitate to book with Drake again.

Great experience. Very clean, spacious bathrooms and kitchen and living area. We were there for my son’s wedding so didn’t spend a lot of time there but perfectly served its purpose for our family as a home base. Would love to go back and enjoy for a longer vacation!
