"Aulani is a magical place for families & kids. It has everything you would need for vacation. We went with an adult group and was really fun. Only couple suggestions…keep the elevators working. Long waits to catch elevators because of elevators not working. Have more food options for adults after 5pm if you want to hang at the pools."

"The property is very nice; pools are relaxing and it was not very busy when we visited (October). The lagoon is nice for kids as there are barely any waves but not so fun if you like aforementioned waves. The reservation system for cabanas and other activities is nice because you can text the concierge. Everything was clean. Self-parking was included and convenient. The host was great: quick responses and provided all the information needed. The rest of the review is just about the room and obviously since it's a hotel/timeshare, it's not something the host can control but others might want to know. The basic rooms are clean but quite small and pretty dated. However, it's pretty inexpensive so if you're looking for just a place to sleep, then this is great value. Just fyi: minimal outlets at the bedsides, carpets and sofa feel old, and with the sofa bed extended, the room becomes mostly beds (i.e. nowhere to sit except on the bed). The balconies are so small that I'm not sure it is an amenity. Nice that a fridge and microwave and coffee machine are available. Overall a good stay for the money!"

"The property was beyond expectations! While we did have a slight plumbing problem it was quickly addressed and did not interrupt our vacation at all. We would highly recommend this property, the area and the people. This was a bucket list trip for our family. Hope to make it back someday."

"Our family of 8 really enjoyed our stay here. The listing is accurate as described and had everything we needed and more. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of beach equipment there was available for us to use! It was complete with beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, coolers, and a wagon that came in very handy to transport all our gear and two kids. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Overall, the stay was nice. There are some items in the villa needs updates. New towels would be an upgrade. The safe was not functional, unfortunately. The area is safe, but due to insurance for certain items, a safe is required. I thought check-in would be a breeze since I had been communicating with host. But, when I arrived and provided details Of my fully paid rental, I was informed my reservation was not in the system. The check-in individuals, looked at me as if I didn’t know what I was talking about, which caused confusion and alarm. However, I had all my printed documents of fully paid rental. Wish experience was better, especially since it’s considered “luxury” stay. Not sure where the lack of communication was since booked through Expedia. This was my third stay at the beach villas, and only time I have had this scenario."

"We had a wonderful stay! The condo is in a fantastic location with easy beach access, beautiful pools, great bar, and gorgeous sunset views.The property staff were friendly and helpful, and we loved the extras like the beach gear—it made enjoying the area so easy. The condo was a perfect home base for relaxing and spending time with our friends.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property!"
