"We stayed one night at the Cornish Inn. We were in room 19, The Captain’s Quarters. The room was huge and thoughtfully decorated with antique chairs and furniture in keeping with the old inn theme. The bed was comfortable and a mini fridge was provided. The room had tons of windows which let in a lot of natural light. We appreciated the pull down shades once night fell. We ate dinner at Lindsey’s downstairs and were so glad we did. The food was outstanding! We also appreciated the heads up to get a reservation right away when we checked in, as we probably would not have thought of it. We had a great experience at this inn and would definitely stay here again if we were ever in the area. "

"Scott and Kath go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They greeted us upon our arrival, and gave us a quick tour of the unit. Just a short time later, we had a fantastic dinner in their private dining room. (This is a service you should strongly consider - you order ahead, and they create a lovely, delicious, home made meal. It was awesome!) They go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to have a relaxing stay in their beautiful location. The setting is perfect for a quiet getaway. On our final day, we decided to eat with them in their kitchen, (again, delicious!) and we feel we've made some wonderful new friends. "

"This is our second time staying at this lovely home and it was even more memorable with all my little ones. I was able to have wonderful star gazing with a fire going in the fire pit and had enough space for the kiddos to run around. The house was as described, clean and cozy. "Great rental! My buddy is getting married in November so he was looking for a relaxing environment for his bachelor trip and we got exactly that with this rental. A perfectly isolated and secluded house in the woods that offers pure relaxation. We would ride into Portland during the day and end our nights and wind down in the Vrbo. A very chill and relaxing trip and all of the people in town and in Portland were incredibly friendly and polite. It felt like southern hospitality in the north. Would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun vacation in Maine. "

"Great place. Lots of extras in case you forget small kitchen items. Very clean. Would have been good to have string likes working because of how dark back yard was. Also canoes that leak should be removed. "
