I was cycling camping through Norway but hit a patch of terrible weather and found the nearest hotel and that turned out to be the marvelous Grand. Idk but something about this place is so compelling and downright charming. There are so many marvelous details and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel in Scandinavia. I give them ten billion stars

The location of this hotel is great! Few food options open, but it was during the off season so it was expected. The hotel's food was still great though! I can imagine this hotel during the peak season is very busy - if we ever go back to visit we will make sure to stay here!

Nice hotel, the rooms could use some upgrades, but I’m guessing if had I gotten a suite, it would have been a little nicer. Pillows were really small. Staff were nice, and I will most likely stay here again in the future.

Nice hotel

Lovely hotel overlooking marina and Fjord. Excellent breakfast with plentiful hot and cold items. Good parking area. Only problem was lack of anywhere to put our clothes in bedroom - not a single drawer and only a tiny open unit such as you would use to hang a coat. I cannot understand how anyone would design an hotel room with NO storage.

Opphold fra onsdag kveld til torsdag formiddag, booket et dobbeltrom, Ankomst og avreise i hht til bestilling, fin service i resepsjonen. Det vi har å klage på, er at dusjen ikke er i orden, dvs det mangler krane og opphenget til dusjen sviktet, den falt ned. Resepsjonen ble varslet ved avreise og skulle sjekke opp dette, så totalt sett et greit opphold, veldig bra frokost forresten

Trevligt hotell som vi besökt för tredje gången Fantastiskt läge och superb mat. Mycket serviceminded personal.Vi blev nöjda då vi blev uppgraderade till bättre rum när vårt rum 409 var mkt varmt och då det inte gick att öppna fönster. Behov av air condition finns . Trerättersmiddag otroligt god . Vi återkommer gärna

Familietur og rom med sjøutsikt. Trivelig rom, men altfor varmt da vi kom. Ikke luftet på forhånd. Gammelt og slitent bad, vinduskarmen hadde avflasset maling. Rommet var ellers fint, men litt lite for en familie på 4. Når vi betaler ekstra for sjøutsikt, hadde det vært fint om ikke vinduene vi skulle nyte utsikten gjennom hadde vært så skitne, og ett av to vindu med utsikt var punktert. God kvalitet på frokostbuffet og restaurant. Flott terrasse med utsikt.
